In this video, I show you a realistic day in my life an AWS Associate Solutions Architect - office edition!
I've been working at AWS for around 2.5 years now and most of it was during the pandemic - so it's great to be back in the office this year for a few days a week.
Thanks for watching, if you have any video suggestions, please let me know in the comments below. 😊

Great video. I will be joining AWS soon as a SA so I am hooked on to all videos related to 'Day in the life of a SA' :-D. I have got so many questions.
What kind of projects do you collaborate with other SAs?
Do SAs work as a team with a single customer or is it always 1 SA per customer?
Do you get to choose what time to block on the calendar for customer meetings or decide how many customer meetings can get scheduled in a day?
My role is remote and I thought to check if you knew how remote roles get to join AWS social events like the one you attended at 5pm in the video? I sometimes feel I would lose out on opportunities to connect with other SAs. In case you know anyone else working remotely, you can shed some light.

Hello, Lucy. I am in the process of changing careers, and I believe that becoming an AWS Solution Architect would be an excellent fit for me. While I have already begun my studies, I am eager to gain a deeper understanding of the real-world responsibilities and scope of an AWS Solution Architect, from client discussions to infrastructure development.
Thank you for sharing your insightful video on the typical day of an AWS Solution Architect. I found it to be very informative. I would be grateful if you could create a video showcasing "Proof of Concepts" examples for customers and also elaborate on the role of an AWS Solution Architect after a customer accepts an offer or an idea. Specifically, I am interested in learning about the infrastructure creation process and the subsequent steps involving other departments at AWS.
I appreciate your time and the valuable content you provide. Thank you for the excellent video!

      - CCNA

      - VMware Certified Professional 6

    • @TechwithLucy

Possible to eventually become an SA - but you may have to start off in a different role and work your way into the SA role.
If you’re in college - there are entry-level SA roles like AWS SA internships / Tech U program.
But usually people start off in a tech support role to get hands on experience
