I think Cloud Architect is the role I am gonna go for. The fact that it's very hands-on is something I find very attractive. I am currently reading up on the Azure Fundamentals exam, and all the stuff I am learning about is really exciting stuff. Thanks for making this video!😁
I've been an SDR for a good awhile and let me tell you it SUCKS. Please skip this role if you can especially in the SaaS space. Low pay for cold calls all day.
I took the quiz, and I got Cloud Developer. I'm currently studying for the AWS Solutions Architect and going for the exam in October. Thanks Lucy, for providing us with some valuable information. Keep up the good work!
Hi Lucy , "This video was incredibly insightful for anyone pursuing a career in cloud computing! The tips on how to stand out in the industry were spot on, and the breakdown of key skills needed was very clear and actionable. I especially appreciated the advice on certifications and hands-on experience-it’s exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks for providing such valuable content!"
In my opinion Solution/Cloud Architect(designing level is more high level task) has bigger role then support Engineer(resolving tickets) generally it considered. Isn't it? Any subscriber what do u say. 1. SDR 2. Cloud Support Engineer 3. Solution Architect 4. Cloud Architect 5. Cloud Security Specialist
really good video. i'm studying Cloud computing in college and i'm doing the AWS certificates on my own time to get ahead. can you please make a video about studying for the AWS Solution Architect associates
2:46 Poor GCP. It hardly gets any mention despite it being 1 of the 3 major cloud providers that still has a significant place in the industry as of the mid 2020s. 😃
Am about to make a decision to start a course but I already feel exhausted and confused,...😢😢 Seems like tough courses. But thank you for clarifying, and i would like to take those questions to help me know what course or specialization i should learn as a complete beginner.
Took the career quiz…got Cloud Developer!😊. I love AI and have been hooked since I started studying for the AI Practitioner exam. I am, however, working as a technical engineer with 3 years experience. How can I go into the Cloud and AI space? Is it possible for me with my experience? Please help advise Lucy. I am scared of taking the AWS AI exams and not finding a job😢…I have a good grasp of the IT fundamentals and my job also involves SQL, troubleshooting and customer interaction. Have done a lot of AWS hands on too-AWS Cloud quests and coursera courses.
Hi Lucy, Hope you are doing well! I am planning to get some AWS certifications because I want to get to Cloud jobs. However I have some weak points and thats is that I am not very good at coding. I have done some research and found out thta not all of the cloud roles need programing langauges. I was planning to get SWS Cloud Practioner, AWS AI Practioner and AWS solutions Architect. So I was wondering if I would be able to find a job, like Soloution architect with these certifications and with not much coding skills? THnks in Advance!
Can someone with a non technical education background or non tech work experience get into Cloud, AWS ? If yes, then which specific roles and cources to go for? Please make a video ... Love from India
No love for the Technical Account Managers (TAMs)? Lol FYI it's 75% as a Solutions Architect but for workloads already in production, it also includes a support element by having access to escalate issues above Cloud Support Engineers.

I feel you…I am tach support and I am tired of the calls and low pay 😔…
Anything sales sucks.
Never heard of this position... $160 is the median??? That's not low!?
@@TekkWithTae hi, can you please elaborate what role arw u in and what you do ?
I spent 3.5 yrs as SDR it can be lucrative but yeah - Cold Calling sucks plus the Sales Execs don’t see you as a serious role
Thank you for this video. I feel like my strengths are centered on the cloud solutions architect.
I took the quiz, and I got Cloud Developer. I'm currently studying for the AWS Solutions Architect and going for the exam in October. Thanks Lucy, for providing us with some valuable information. Keep up the good work!
what quiz are you talking about?
@@MustarDCrewPrasiddhahero69did you watch the video?
I wish you the best bro
Still struggling to take that first step into the cloud world. SDR seems to be the most logical entry point from a non tech to tech transition
Great content Lucy always giving value.
Thanks for the support!
Thanks for all the insights you share.
I am SDR at AWS Partner. Its a good job but very hard if the partner is not big company!

There are no entry level jobs in cloud or cybersecurity.
Really? What’s a realistic requirements or steps. Newbie here.
Great video! Very helpful!
Thanx Lucy this video gives a positivity 😊
From the AWS quiz, it states a role as a Cloud Developer. … I’m currently, before the quiz, studying solurions and developer. 🙃🍷📚
Cloud security engineer is what I would aim for, I have cyber security knowledge but not enough cloud... working on it.
Why are you moving from cybersecurity to cloud? I’m trying to choose between the two

Bro I’m doing the opposite, I don’t find any entry-level job in cybersecurity 🥲. Is the market really tough for cloud roles ?
You are appreciated
I'm tired of dealing with CX. Any roles that do not deal with customers?
