Well this is comedy, but I do know a show that has, that character development your looking for. It's called izombie, it's on Netflix and despite being a comedy too, it dose have it's dark and serious moments. Probably the best comic based show I've watched.

I stayed up until 3:00 in the morning to watch this because I’m a massive Daredevil fan and I just wanted to see how much they could ruin his character. So I paused the video and skimmed through the timeline to find the scene with Daredevil and NOTHING!! I can’t believe they set up that scene last week just for them to set up The Leader in this one. We’ll be lucky to seen him next week if not later.

About the only way I can defend Jennifer not dying after Titania sucker-punched her is by drawing a comparison to Norton's Banner (as described by Ruffalo's Banner) "eating a bullet" only for the other guy to spit it out. Also Norton's Banner survived a fall from a great hight jumping out of a helicopter, going splat to the ground that left a crater in the street, to emerge as The Hulk. I guess there's a presadence for their Green Sides to influence some self preservation upon their mortal shell? Trust me, it pains me to defend this pile if Sh*t in any way. I think you hit it the nail on the head, Jessica Gao and these Hack women writers have had ZERO life experiences. They ruined the first episodes scene just cutting from the closing statement. Abominations release was not really a court scene. And Donny blaze let's be honest SHE LOST THAT initially and only won cause Donny messed up.she hulk the lawyer has done nothing until now.
This is because, probably already heard it by now, the writers have admitted to be unable to write compelling courtroom drama. Yet they were still allowed to write a show with ATTORNEY AT LAW IN IT'S FRIGGING TITLE. I wasn't expecting anything from the start. Like you don't need to make Suits or Better Call Saul level of ingenuity here it's a comic book show after all but at the very least try if that's what they're fucking paying you to write.

I'm thinking back and I really can't think of a single moment, outside of being forced to by her job, or while trying to get laid, that Jennifer expressed the least bit of interest in anyone else's lives. Other than insulting virtually every male character she meets( other than her dad, and the ones she wants to get with) she really seems like she couldn't care less about any other human beings existence.

Unfortunately, films Incredible Hulk and Thor: Ragnarök showed "human-form" Bruce Banner and Emil Blonsky surviving injuries that would kill them so Jen surviving a super strength Titania's punch is consistent with people who can turn into Hulk-like forms can survive fatal injuries in their normal forms in the MCU. So, that parts not a flaw, though the episode was still boring, although yeah, they should've showed a bigger bruise on human Jen's face or at least a bloody nose. Bruce jumping out of planes and surviving in human form, Emil getting kicked headfirst into a tree by the Hulk and seemingly receiving gravely injuries then slowly healing.
If someone told me how great they are by telling me about the big firm they work for, but then didn't talk about what ever I was interested in, I would just dislike them forever.

Some french youtuber who also reviews She Hulk (he hates it) said something that I hadn’t noticed but ever since he said it, it makes total sense: they treat this show as if it were an animated cartoon. All the goofy jokes, the unfunny jokes. One would wonder why a disney show in 2022 can be so unfunny. Except most of these jokes would work if it were an animated cartoon.

I recently found out the head writer worked with Cartoon Network but mostly with Nickelodeon on shows like Big Time Rush, Back at the Barnyard, and the Kung Fu Panda animated series. It’s beyond me why they decided to hire her and I don’t know what the critics are smoking with their positive reviews.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law gets a sitcom staple - the wedding episode - and it’s another fun installment that plays with Jen’s conflicting feelings over She-Hulk. We even get a little bit of action in Titania vs. She-Hulk Part 2, although that exciting fight is unfortunately cut short by a joke that doesn’t entirely land. But the B-story, which gives us the great pairing of Mallory and Nikki, is a consistent delight, showing the strength of the series’ superhero lawyer premise. It’s just too bad some scenes are restricted by the 30-minute runtime.

Unfortunately, films Incredible Hulk and Thor: Ragnarök showed "human-form" Bruce Banner and Emil Blonsky surviving injuries that would kill them so Jen surviving a super strength Titania's punch is consistent with people who can turn into Hulk-like forms can survive fatal injuries in their normal forms in the MCU. So, that parts not a flaw, though the episode was still boring, although yeah, they should've showed a bigger bruise on human Jen's face or at least a bloody nose.
Bruce jumping out of planes and surviving in human form, Emil getting kicked headfirst into a tree by the Hulk and seemingly receiving gravely injuries then slowly healing.
I like the way Mr. Immortal thinks, I mean jumping out of a window to attempt escaping the show she hulk? Chad move. Sadly he didn't escape.
I'm convinced this whole episode is a self insert fic for the director jessica gao.

The show does actually flow a lot like the beloved, late 80’s, John Byre era She Hulk comic run. Complete with breaking the 4th wall.

I started watching the show because I used to read the comics, not for the stories but for the T&A, I was hoping to get that here but no the CGI is sh*t and the stories even more. So now I just watch your review, Thank you for the job you do, saving me a load of time.

Some french youtuber who also reviews She Hulk (he hates it) said something that I hadn’t noticed but ever since he said it, it makes total sense: they treat this show as if it were an animated cartoon. All the goofy jokes, the unfunny jokes. One would wonder why a disney show in 2022 can be so unfunny. Except most of these jokes would work if it were an animated cartoon.
You’re right about that. I recently found out the head writer worked with Cartoon Network but mostly with Nickelodeon on shows like Big Time Rush, Back at the Barnyard, and the Kung Fu Panda animated series. It’s beyond me why they decided to hire her and I don’t know what the critics are smoking with their positive reviews.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law gets a sitcom staple - the wedding episode - and it’s another fun installment that plays with Jen’s conflicting feelings over She-Hulk. We even get a little bit of action in Titania vs. She-Hulk Part 2, although that exciting fight is unfortunately cut short by a joke that doesn’t entirely land. But the B-story, which gives us the great pairing of Mallory and Nikki, is a consistent delight, showing the strength of the series’ superhero lawyer premise. It’s just too bad some scenes are restricted by the 30-minute runtime.
