- Dialling in my new vintage inspired rerelease, the stunning YZ10 racing buggy. I take it back to the local track and put it directly against my modern PR Racing SB401 Type R, to see how close I can get the lap times. Before that, I make some setup changes and upgrade the electronics.

wow it's cool to see such an old design be right up there with new ones
The best part of the video is your slow mo "nooooooooo ohhhhhooohh nooooaahhhhh"
LOL
that was well funny! loose nuts i presume?
Man! That YZ jumps like a boss.
Nice vid it is fun to watch the race RcKicks.
Epic driving Gavin. The YZ is remarkable for a "vintage" buggy. Looks like a real weapon.
More work to be done but it's looking good so far. :)
Brilliant mate liking this racing your doing I can’t wait to see what you can do with the rc10b7, big like as always Gavin mate
PR racing really has my attention right now. At a recent event that I attended a guy won like 3 classes with the PR stuff. PR Racing USA just sent a RM kit to raffle at our race in August, and a few of us have taken a notice of that rear motor buggy for the kind of dirt we race on... I'd be surprised if I don't see a handful of them pop up in the 2wd buggy class here over the rest of the season and next spring.
Cheers.
Super happy with my SB401 Type R. The kit quality is really good, the issue is the lack of publicity in the UK, especially down South of the UK.
Interesting comparison. Good buggies.
Love my PR SB401 type R. What a mouth-full. Still ain’t put my S1 RM together. Cool comparison though.
Put your cam in manual focus. Auto focus keeps making stuff behind you soft to sharp to soft as your hand waving is causing cam to respond. -U10
I'd still have the YZ over the modern buggy hands down.
Quick question what software do you use for editing your videos
I edit on a Mac using Final Cut Pro. It’s a bit expensive but I find it works well.
Hi quick question how would I go about getting my hands on one of those ? I'm in New Zealand currently running are Kyosho Lazer zxrr which I've broken a few times I'm looking a modern vintage to replace the 30 plus year old one I've always liked the YZ10 .
Contact Alby from the Trickbits Facebook page. He ships worldwide
@@RCKickschannel Thank you keep up the good work great vids .
I’d say - given that you have so much more track time on the PR racing that they’re level pegging. I’ll bet if you stick to running the trick-bits for a few weeks and do the same back to back comparison, the results would be reversed.
You should be right up there in the vintage class with that... it’s just the old human factor that might let you down.
How come your indoors still gav?
I like indoor carpet racing. Not a fan of mud, wind, rain and a trashed car every race. :)
$230usd for that esc!! I kind of need one LOL
It’s a high end racing ESC. Amazing power and technology but not an entry level budget ESC that’s for sure.
It's zed not zee.
Don't care
not if your american..lol
@@markbruton-young9228 aye but yer still wrong american or not.
