Then they have to reprogram everything to knobs and buttons and put in a real gauge cluster. $160k USD, and months later you're finally driving it. Anything mechanical is supposed to have some ability to be kept maintained it gives mechanics a skill and means to feed their families what Toyota did many years ago is a clever trick to keep money away from you and your ilk by inventing the JIT system which does away with the need for warehousing hence anyone with this skill and knowledge has NO place at their factories and they keep all knowledge of maintenance in Japan and only share irrelevant information on the basics. It would give you most likly enough space for you to move your cabinets in and your motorstand and a few bits and bobs. A lot of us strugel with to litel to no space and maybe a few others have nice advice for you.

Also, you're coming to a premium product review to point out that it's a premium product and remind others that non-premium products exist, and by extension, for cheaper. That's the real LOL. Everyone knows that a Lexus is better and more expensive than a Toyota. Some people, like perhaps yourself, don't understand that and think that it's exactly the same thing. My point is that for someone who can't tell the different, yes they should get a Toyota. If you can't tell the difference between a Lexus and a Toyota or the experience you have owning them or with your dealership, then yes go get a Toyota all day long. Lexus is pretty successful, however, so I think it's plain to see that they aren't just Toyotas and that not everyone agrees with you. Your take isn't new or hot in any way. Walmart cost less than Nordstrom. Some people have more money to spend on nicer things and nicer experiences and Lexus is for those people. Yes there are discount automotibles.

I prefer the styling of the older GXs before the huge grills. I would never buy another vehicle with a panoramic sunroof because they only have a fabric shade instead of a full interior cover. That lets in a lot more road noise so the interior isn't quiet and the stereo doesn't sound as near as good.

I do like the exterior styling. The interior is Fire!
Not loving the full glass roof. Would be concerned about occupants' safety in a rollover. The solid roof does provide protection you know. Sliding sideways into another car, a tree, a fire hydrant or anything else, and all there is between your kids and the object is glass. Hmm, I dunno.
I'm also not excited about the new drive train. too many complaints already in the Tundra, Sequoia. Its not just the wastegate issue BTW. Engines seizing, cam shafts failing.
And no improvement in gas mileage for all that extra complexity and compromise in reliability.
But it's not up to the consumer. All the companies are doing it now.
