Thank you so much! That’s such a sweet thing to say. I like making these videos because I feel like I can share my creative stuff with others who appreciate it, so your words really make me feel good. Happy stitching!!
Absolutely loved watching this video. Great to see your current projects and how you have finished some. Really enjoyed seeing your knitting and quilting as well. Great fun to watch you do your summer decorating.
My children range fr I m 49 to 38, I think❤. My next door neighbor Cindy and my daughter (46) have been good friends since they met in 8th grade!! Cindy has 2 Autistic boys. Got to visit a few minutes the other day and her truth hit me so hard. "School is out this Friday, just 3 days away and then I have 90 days until school starts again" I compare my life today to when my children were home. I have a 71 year old PD/brain damaged adult that is a typical 13 year old with no filters, AND school is NEVER starting again. Lol. Stitching and Flosstubes like yours are my salvation. THANK YOU ‼️
I like to grumble a little bit about summer, but we’re lucky every day we have with our children. Nathan can be really challenging sometimes, but he’s happy and healthy and that’s all we need. Thank you for sharing and I hope you get some restful stitching in soon!
Thanks so much! It’s been so much fun to learn ALL about the vintage kitchen stuff. And I love it when my hobbies work with each other. Thanks so much for watching.
While I really enjoy your bright, cheery cross stitch…I LOVE your vintage Pyrex collection! I’m a whole different generation that you, but I think you have great enthusiasm for stitching and collecting. Thank you for sharing! ☀️
I love your vintage Pyrex collection!! Tremendous! I collect vintage mostly pink and green, and also floral Pyrex, Ballerina bowls, china, pottery, and Portmeirion. Also I have a collection of vintage kitchen tools, and my mother's stitchy pillows and framed pieces. It was so fun puttering around with you today!! Right up my alley! Thanks!!😊
How neat you have some stitching from your mom! My mom is a quilter and I have a few pieces from her that I’ll treasure always! Vintage collecting is so fun. You meet the neatest people when you’re out and about and the history of our “stuff” is pretty interesting. Thanks for watching my video!
Loved watching you diy video. Summer is bitter sweet. When my kids were young I had to keep them entertained a bit. But in the 1970s my kids could go out to play with other kids in the neighborhood. We had toys, sandbox, swing set. Then they got bikes. They could ride around the neighborhood. Sometimes we would go to my friend's house close by to go into her pool.
We had those kinds of summers when the kids were younger, too, but their neighborhood friend group is firmly teenaged now and they are all so busy. The days are long but the years are short. Thanks for watching!
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. We have 3 adult children with Downs Syndrome and I understand how you get attached to a teacher and the instructional aides. They are amazing! I have a set of Pyrex bowls that were my aunts in primary colors! Love your collection. Your stitching and finishing are beautiful! I particularly like the decoupaged fabric. I’m a quilter too with a few tops finished but not quilted. We are locating soon and I will have a place to hang them so it will be fun to finish them! Happy stitching!
I started off kind of annoyed, I wanted to see floss tube. BUT, I’m so glad I kept watching, I love your glass collections and how you set up your decor. Thank you. 😂❤
Great content! I never decorate, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like seeing it….and I appreciate the simplicity of the items you used. Very unique. And I just have to say, FlossTubers are VERY enabling, but you are the first to send me running to eBay for Nancy Drew books! I haven’t thought about them in years, but as soon as I saw those yellow binds, I KNEW what they were!!!!! Thanks for the great flashback!!
Thanks so much for watching my video. I’m going to enable you a little more. My first Nancy Drew books came from my mom and aunt, and I found the rest little by little. I kept a list on my phone for every time I went to the antique store. A lot of times you can find them for $3 or less. eBay is great for finding those pesky last volumes. It was a fun “treasure hunt”. We should do a reading club!
Oh wow! I’ll search for her and check her out. Sometimes people take a break and come back, and it would be nice to be caught up. Thank you for the recommendation, and for watching my video. 🙂
You are a delight! Question: do you ever use your Pyrex for baking/serving? It’s so versatile. Thanks for the finishing demo. That is definitely a skill I need to work on.
Thanks for watching my video. I do sometimes use my vintage Pyrex for serving food or mixing batters, but I haven’t baked with it. I do see a lot of yummy casseroles that my friends make with their pieces. There’s even a hashtag called #pyrexinaction. My first cross stitch finishes were pretty wonky, and that’s partly why I do a lot of sewing finishes because they can be reversed much more easily. It took a while before I was confident with the hot glue gun! Keep practicing! It’s so fun to “use” your cross stitch pieces so you can enjoy them.
Please Sally don't change a thing...your videos are wonderful. They are so colorful and filled with fun! You are special and sweet and very creative!

You might like to watch Pyrex stitcher; she’s Australian but unfortunately hasn’t uploaded for a while x
