They are both iconic pens ....I have been a fan of German pistonfillers....and they do survive for decades if taken care off..... as I still use a monterosa 042 and a pelikan m200 in black...that one of my family members bought mid 70s from a bookstore in Berlin

Nice pens both. The crown cap is indeed indicative of post 1997 production. The one chick logo however is indicative of post 2003 production.
