Happy New Year Bogdan 🎉 Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to use Micro-Mesh to even out the nib and make it usable. Either way, it will be better than the current, unusable state. I did this successfully on a Pelikan 400 nib. You can do it! 🎉🎉🎉

While it won’t be an inexpensive repair, I was able to have Scribo pen company repair my Oma’s pistons as most of the workers and machinery there are from the old Omas factory

I have only ever used steel Kaweco nibs so I was interested to your 14K nib.👍 Moreover, it is a suction−type old Kaweco. And by the way, it's a nice colour ink. I'll look for it next time.

That is just a lovely pen. Did not see you dipping the nib a second time, so it is not only a wet nib but also an incredible feed with lots of capacity. I concur, 21 USD very well spent!

Have you had any problems with leaking at the ink window? I have an MK20 that is a smooth writer but has leaking issues

Nice review and rare find! I have a similar model (Steno P470) in black, the 1989 version. I write German shorthand and in the German shorthand system you need two line variations (finer and broader). That's why this pen has a somewhat flexible nib for the line variation (although it is not technically a flex nib and far too hard a nail for my opinion). That's why I personally prefer a Pilot with an FA nib for my German shorthand writing. :)

I hope you work on your handwriting to enjoy even more each one of these beauties. My adivice is begin with italics, after English Round Hand and then Spencerian.

Dear friend! 60 к or 90 k at the top of cap means the price of the pen! Not the producer. All soviet goods have unchengeble price engraved on pens, knives, forks, books and so on.

There are real gems among Russian & Ukrainian pens.
