      A beach, if a portable podcast works at a beach with the wind and waves, people and other random noises and still sounds good that would be a amazing podcast setup

    Hi! Thanks for the video! But how about environment noises and sounds, how do you prevent/treat that?

    Hi!
    Question:
    Do you use any speakers for your audio/mic? My mic records into my laptop, but I want it to project outwards i.e. talking head videos. Please help. Thanks!

    Do you have any videos for recommedations for lav mics to use with a Zoom recorder? I have the Zoom H5 and a Samson Q2U but don't really want to walk around recording all my audio with a hand held mic - sometimes it's nice to have something more descreet and handsfree.

    I prefer to do a video podcast. What is the best equipment for that when not in my studio? Thanks;)

      It depends on the level of production. The question is a little hard to answer. Shoot me an email with some of the details of your project and I can give you some ideas. Studiosteve@podsoundschool.com

    If you’re plugging in microphones, why do you still use the built in microphones?

    For a video pod. Would it possible to just use the same equipment for the sound and than use smartphone to record the video?

    • @podsoundschool
      @podsoundschool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely. You just sync the sound up later (or replace the phone audio with the primo audio”. It helps to clap as a sync point.

      Nope. Not yet. But that's something we'll have to consider.

    Is it helpful to wear headphones while recording?

    • @podsoundschool
      @podsoundschool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think so yes. Especially if you are in monitor mode, when you can hear the mic through your headphones. For me it helps with mic technique.

    Where does the audio go once you're done recording?

    • @podsoundschool
      @podsoundschool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The audio is stored onto a SD card that is in the recorder. When you're done you plug the SD card into your computer. I works just like a hard drive.
