I think Josh prefers to have the highs cut off on his amps/eq pedals. It’s not the guitar itself, but I can see how you would assume that. it’s the way he likes his tone. I think it works great in the mix

It's up to you how you'll transpose material. About tuning they use...it depends on situation I think )
