I agree. It’s funny, Clockwork gets files in my brain as “new Queens”, but I guess it’s 10 years old now. I will say, the new album doesn’t like knock your socks off and set them on fire, but it’s a great album to play in the background from start to finish. Been doing that a lot this summer and it’s kiiiiinda growing on me.
They were on fire 🔥 that night. Joey was great drummer for QOTSA. He formerly played for Danzig and I believe took over sticks from Chuck Biscuits. I know Chuck gave him snare drum that is one of his prized possessions. Watch video for Am I Demon and listen to that absolutely pounding “Black Sabbath Bill Ward inspired” kick drum pattern. He not using double pedal, the pattern fast and relentless. His Drum Throne is height crazy high. It really looks likes he’s standing up playing his kit. No idea how he finds that comfortable, obviously it’s working for Chuck no more questions. He beats that ride cymbal like it owes him money and the Rest of kit sounds fantastic. Pretty sure it’s Danzig 2 album 💿, I loved Misfits and Samhain Has it’s charms
How can this many people playing this many different songs at the same time sound so good but god QOTSA do it every time. My absolute favourite band ever.

Wow. I hate Boston so much for stupid, immature, petty family-related personal reasons, but I'm SO jealous. I totally would've compromised my idiotic principles and played nice with my insane family to have gone to that show. But I love to see that hardcore fans got the chance to be there!

Let’s hear it for the Rollins show, the mix is always good. They even got slayer right! The mars volta, peeping tom and so many more. It was a honor to have watched it all live. Ryan adams performance was epic!
Whoever did the mixing for this deserves a medal of honor
I was about to write that, the panning it's on point.
Metal of Honor*
I think Eric Kretz, the drummer from STP, was the house engineer for this show for awhile.? Not sure if he mixed though...
Yes they added bass
Its compressed you can hear it engage after slight breaks in the riffs before next beat hits
It’s 240p and it still sounds amazing
