As much as I appreciate Jon Theodore's accurate playing of all the songs, Joey just brings another rawness and heaviness to the songs... What a powerful drummer!

I really like Joey's playing in these Basement videos because he's on point with tempo. Most of the time it seems like he rushes the songs live, which is fine because they're still good. But these Basement tapes are a whole nother level.

I mean it's not a jazz song. Watch some of those drummers Man start with Buddy Rich if you want to check out cool drummers Ginger Baker of course even if it's not your style you'll appreciate the amazing ability of those players and the other players that inspired them and so forth

I'm sorry but this band is some type of special. You can't just change damn near everyone on a band and STILL be successful. Josh Homme is a special class of genius.

It took me awhile to find but it was performed in this order: Millionaire, Mexicola, Turnin' On The Screw, Monsters in the Parasol and then I think I Lost My Headache.
I love these guys way before Portlandia but anyone else blessed with that one episode with homeboy in it? 😅 it was great I told my mom hey that's one of my favorite guys!!!😂❤❤❤
