I loved this video. It’s like therapy watching an 8th gen come back to life. I have a love for these

Nice. Unfortunately, where I live, clapped out salvaged title 8th gen si's still go for $6-$10k.

Yeah, takes some hunting to find a deal like this for sure.

Same here. Just scored one for 3500 with 220k miles alignment off, horrible tires, messed up rims, a few rust spots and paint fade on the trunk. Wanted $4800 for it. Going to be a pretty big undertaking but planning a k24a swap after body work, wheels and brakes

@@crackshotmcgee9588 congrats. I'm in the process of doing a k24a rn too. Get on it because the motors are much more expensive now than they were 2-5 yrs ago.

@jimmyymoua thanks man! And I'm just wondering if since I'm going to use a k20 head is there any reason not to get any k24 block?(also planning on doing pistons, maybe turbo, that sort of thing)

Would love too see more of these! Looking to paint my mr2 but I wanna do it myself and don’t want to spend so much (it’s got no engine so I can’t really take it to a place to get painted either)

I don't think they will be getting cheaper, for 8th gens at least, its the last high rev honda

I agree the paint looked dull. Matte. But it is also true the buyer could repaint or reject. He does not *make* anyone buy. Even with dull paint, it could be better for the life of the metal than how he found it. But for his own sake, he should make it a shiny coat, as most people want that. I was wishing he would blow glitter all over the paint. Wouldn't that look cool? Glitter sealed under a clear coat. I once saw a car that had shag carpet as the surface layer. Odd.
