    I like the 2kw. Interested to see what you do when linking the batteries to it. I'm re-configuring my array from 60V to 90V array to the charge controller (60V was too close to the 57V needed to charge the battery). Then low 50s with some very careful cut off / reboot settings on the inverter.

      Batteries will add extra juice..for now I don't have any..but there will be soon

      I HAVE the same invertor,but the problem is the fans stop working after a two mounth

    Interesting video, question what is the maximum input current that the inverter can withstand, I read the manual but I couldn't find it, only the Watts and volts

      Theoretical the input current can be infinite...consider a swimming pool (solar panels) and we draw water with a bucket, what matters is the bucket not the size of the pool. So the input current should be as much as possible. But in the real world these devices, even with the power limiter, are prone to overload. They are designed to work like 1800W permanently and 2000W peak, you can figured by your solar panel install. Consider I=P/V, where I=Amps, P=power and V =voltage. To keep it under request and safe, let's say you have a 2500W solar panels, they should deliver 72V with 32Amps...but practically we never reach 2500W from those panels...so it should be ok. Finally, not the amps matters but the input power. Also keep in mind, higher the voltage, lower the current. My installation is like 1900W at 66V means at peak around 28Amps...but I never reached more than 1400W Ac output. If we consider max 90V DC input by book, which I don't recommend it! The max current for a safe and long duty should be like 20 Amps…eventually 22 peak…means around 2000W DC input.

    Hi I have a quick question, I notice your import power was about 50w while your generated was about 1kw, where are you feeding the power into the system and where is your ct? I bought a soyosource one (700w) but I only get about 50% power when running with the limiter eg if I set the power out to 500w I will only get 200w with the limiter but if I switch the limiter off I get the 500w output, I will have to remove it from the system since its not on the g98 list of equipment but would like to see it works properly before sending it back to the supplier

      Hey! My curent sensor is on the phase first behind the house main fuse, behind the contor. The output from inverter is connected to any main wall socket in the way..as close as possible to the main fuse..think like the sensor is ''listening'' the house power needs and is modulating the inverter power by the needs.. If the sun is up and your panels can deliver 1000W and your house needs that power the inverter will provide it. If your needs goes down to 200W , even if the panels can cover 1000W the inverter will push only 200W according to the sensor readings.

      @@viocaia Thanks for your reply, I believe the external limiter may be suspected, I had complained to the seller who had promised to send a replacement board but has done nothing so I think I'll just get another external limiter to try since its not that expensive

    Tell me more about that limiter? Why is it important?

      The limter is '' listening '' to the house needs and serve the energy according to it. Let's say ..the house is ''eating '' 1KWh..that sensor translate that in voltage and let the inverter know..there is PWM..pulse width modulation which is controlling the production..kind of water cane..I bought that from Alliexpress..search for GTIL2000 power inverter with limiter.I found a supplier in EU, so no custom duties..also 2 years warranty..

      @@uittyman It's higher DC input like 90V and double output power, same electronic like 1KWh model but double DC boost converter

    Dear Viorel.We have the shematic diagram of the coolant tunel that from right and left has got :The fan booster is on our left side and contains downwards. B, C, A, 2A 2A 2A, A Total 10 tranzistors. And on upside from left again has B,2A,2A,2A,2A,a total 10 tranzistors. The characyeristcs of A= IGBT IM 22AB FDP 33N25. B= S8008 R ODNHE C=FCPF 20N60. I wonder what the number B which are 2 in the motherboard ...at start from left. the S 8008 R OD NHE what is it.??please one site tells me is a small signalbipolar tranzistor thus it has the letter S and another site that is a triac........Thank you very much.

      We are trying to find the right part for this. S8008R it should be a Thiristor doing a diode job.Under the part, on the board is a D letter, which clear says it;s diode...but the part is a thiristor working in diode mode, recovery voltage diode. More in few hours..still searching for..

      @@ioncuptor6599 As long as it is delivering AC is not a problem. GTIL2 has two fans at the bottom of the case, those are working all the time for general cooling. All the active parts like Mosfets are on a heat sink inside with a third fan, which works as soon as the temperature pass 55C, once in a while. That one, it's pretty noisy. I don't see any problem for those two general fans working all the time, I even added another fan outside which gives a better air flow.

    Hi, Viorel.
    For years I used my GTIL2 below 1kw.
    Few days ago I added some solar panels in order to generate about 2kw.
    But, as you can see at th-cam.com/video/twjT3ztR49k/w-d-xo.html, when the inverter generates more than 1300kw, it restarts as a safety mode.
    It seems that it's caused by temperature or amperage.
    I tried to cool the inveter by removing the case and placing a big fan in front of it, but nothing changed.
    Have you got some suggestions, please?

      Check in the menu , Reboot voltage and set it to lowest 44V. Probably when starts producing great power for a sec the voltage goes down, chwck your cables , should be able to run with 30Amps more, also see maybe you have a power limit set low level. MOH can be the cables ...

Întreb deoarece am un sistem dacă te uiți la mine pe canal, vreau sa mai măresc cu un au KW de panouri și sa conectez toată casa la sistemul meu dar invertorul meu care îl am acum nu va putea duce toată casa și ma gândeam sa cumpăr 2 invertoare cu limitator de 1kw fiecare dar nu știu cât de durabile sunt. Am avut unul care era conectat aa livreze în rețea dar sa ars după nici un an a livrat vreo 1000kw

      @@interestingthings5829 are 1 an, părerea mea este 2 invertoare de 2Kw, lăsate sa meargă lejer, pe al meu nuam mai mult de 1300w și am ventilator suplimentar, inamicul 1 este căldură.

      @@viocaia dar celea de 2 KW trebuie sa leg bateriile la 48v nu? Ca acum sistemul ce îl am eu ii pe 24v, vreau sa cumpăr acumulator cu litiu de 7.2 KW am găsit în jur de 7000 DE LEI, îmi trebuie cu litiu pentru ca acești acumulatori cu plumb când am consum de peste 2. 5kw scade voltajul mult și îmi decuplaza de pe baterii prematur. Iar după ce iar acumulatorul cu litiu, acumulatorii cu plumb ii voi conecta la un încărcător de acumulatori care va merge de pe invertorul principal și apoi voi conecta de pe bateriile cu plumb invertoare cu limitator ca al dumneavoastră. Ce părere aveți de planul meu?
      De unde ști cumpărat invertorul ca să îmi fac o idee de preț?
