Thankyou for this description of how to disassemble it. I have a DC power short that literally exploded the DC fuses. Now to figure out which FET is shorted.

I found your video after my inverter (same brand and type) broken by lighting induction (my bad for not install surge arrester). I guess I'll try to repair myself. I've seen inside my inverter, apparently one of the mosfet blown and got chipped.

Hi I have one of these and it just stopped working. I see the DC input reading of my battery on the display but I have 0 volts on the limiter and grid voltage readings on the display. Can you offer any advise or help please?

Hi erm I hope that you can get back to me so on the same inverter two resistors blew up on the underneath of the circuit board and I cannot find anywhere what the two are so I can fix myself please could you let me know what ones they are that are next to the other two r030 resistors. Thank you

mine has been running at half power for a few days... any idea what might be the issue?

Hey! Thanks! Do you have any idea at what voltage are those input electrolytics rated?

If you asking about the large DC Capacitors, they are 100v at 1000uf

@@patriot_trd_bros2274 Thanks! I have my panels delivering 100V+...so it's looking like I need to rewire my PV in order to use GTIL2000 on the way..

    Thinking about buying one.
How long do they last for?

I've had one almost two years now, If learned that you must have surge and over voltage protections on both AC and DC. They are very sensative to nearby lightings and power surges. Also keeping them cool is a must, I cooked one up for letting it be in a hot environment.

it is possible to connect a storage battery to this inverter adding a charge regulator?

    • @carlosmedrano8656

If you mean a charge controller, yes. I actually use three Ford Escape hybrid battery packs converted to 72 volts and a 60amp solar charge controller.
