@@llcoolpete Thanks Peter, really appreciate the feedback and your support! 🙏 (by the way, did you receive your Pill Pedal? If yes, have you been enjoying it? 😉)
@@2MinuteWarning My pleasure; I appreciate your content and the inspiration it brings! (well remembered on the Pill Pedal convo! Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! 🤗 (had to use some tricks to be able to make the track sound "full" with only 2 mono synths, like the use of delay on the 0-Coast and a long kick with the harmonic part playing the bass 😅)
Hey thanks my friend! Long time no see ☺️ Actually the challenge was quite considerable (but interesting) trying to make a small track with to mono synths only 😅
@@2MinuteWarning the sound of dfam was super cool. Btw, I am thinking to get Matriarch to make a better pad sound. What do you think ?? Is it good choice ??
@@mongkenco4616 The Matriarch is a very cool and inspiring synth (very cool to experiment with the modular side and make wild sounds!) ! However if you mainly want to do pad sounds, there are surely more suitable synths out there with more polyphony for example (actually the Matriarch is not even polyphonic, it's only 4-voice paraphonic). In the same price range I can look for example on the Prophet REV2, Novation Summit (or Peak), Prophet 6 Desktop or OB6 module if you don't want to go fully digital; otherwise there is also the Hydrasynth... It really depends on the sounds you like and also the number of voices you'd like to have to play complex chords for example 😉
@@2MinuteWarning Very appreciated on your feedback. You gave me things exactly what I am looking for. Yes, number of voices is important for my next synth. I need polyphonic synth now. 😆😆
Thinking about incorporating a KSP into my modular. Would be great if you could run through the patching required, would be killer if you could do that in a video 🎉
I'll think about making a video, but that'll surely need some time! Actually it is quite easy incorporating a KSP in a modular environment 😉 The KSP has 4 sequencer tracks. If you want to use CV/Gate, each of the 4 tracks has 3 ouputs: 1 gate, 1 pitch (CV) and 1 modulation/velocity (CV). However the 1st one can be dedicated to drums as it also has 8 gate outputs. So for example if you have a drum module which has 8 gate inputs to trigger your sounds, you can use track 1 to do so. And the other 3 tracks can be used to sequence your other sound module with CV and gate messages. Arturia has a small video which might help a bit: th-cam.com/video/6IvVXpk2VXI/w-d-xo.html
Hi, here is what I wrote in the description when I published this video, hope it'll help 😉 The Arturia Keystep Pro (KSP) was used to sequence both instruments (although I also used the DFAM's 8-step sequencer too 😄). I used 3 tracks on the KSP: * Track1 - sending gates to sync the 0-Coast clock (for its Sample & Hold LFO) and to the DFAM * Track 2 - sending CV to the DFAM to transpose its 8-step sequence (with some CV being sent with a 20% probability) * Track 4 - sending CV & Gate to the 0-Coast to play the main riff (on 2 patterns).
I as not expecting a complete track. Sounds amazing. Great sound design and programs
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃🙏
This is so good. Love when TH-cam recommends stuff that might otherwise fly under my radar. Keep it up.

i was tempted by the DFAM ,BUT I DID REPLECATE AMAZING KICK SNARE AND TOMS ANS HATS ON THE MOTHER 32
Didn't know the Mother 32 was able to replicate those punchy percussion sounds! That's very cool and interesting to know 😉
This is very cool. all is perfect, but the sound of dfam...killed me.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend! 😃 (the EBS Multicomp compressor helped bring some punch and consistency to the DFAM 😎🤘)

@@2MinuteWarning J'aime bien les petits freeze fill in et les releases super courts sur le kick.
