I'm sure she wouldn't follow through on that, but what she essentially has done is drawn the line in the sand. " If you want something new, something has to go ". Drats !!! But I like ALL !!! of my gear. ( sigh )

I was jamming with my 0-coast last week and it struck me that it felt like jamming with a TB-303. It's a little box, it has a very distinct sound (certainly compared to most of the small desktop monosynths in the same price range), you can set up a patch and then rock the overtone/multiply/decay time knobs like you would the 303's filter cutoff and envelope, and it works really, really well in the context of techno.
That comes out sounding flatter and less compelling than when I thought it, but I was imagining an alternative history of dance music...

It's cuz of the inspiration from videos like yours that my system has turned into something i used to only dream of having. Many thanks to you, DivKid, Dr Nim, Lightbath, Omri Cohen, Loopop, Red Means Recording, Cinematic Laboratory...on and on and on...too many to mention. But, thanks. The last couple years since my modular journey began have been nothing short of revelatory for my music & creativity. Make Noise stuff always fascinated & intimidated me and I wanted to be in a certain place of understanding before I committed. So happy to have then in my system finally

    Oh my god.
Covid screwed up all the supply lines, and I had to wait for what felt like an eternity. At last, it arrived 2 days ago.
Holy shit, this machine is amazing. I was getting all sorts of sounds that made me think it was faulty, and the awesome support staff guided me through it. The unit was fine, I just needed t know how to patch it right, and as a beginner in this area, I was fucking clueless. The Make Noise staff were great, they sorted me out straight away, and showed me the right way to do it. I love this thing.

You also sold me on the 0-Control. That's next, followed by starting my first rack with maths, morphagene, disting EX and ES9. After that, I dunno. I might be ready to make the next choice by Christmas, given my credit card schedule.

Dude, this is the most fun video synth review.
You should get this out on vinyl, just you playing the synth and going 'ooh' every now and then...

    The Machine becomes self aware.
U can see him searching for a knob to turn, doesn't find one, and then realizes that the O Coast is being WICKED FUNKY ON ITS OWN!
His little laugh kills me, as if to say, "Oh, youre alive?!"

I've watched several of your videos now and while I don't have any money, I now know where it's all going once I get some.

2021 and this is still the best synth demo on youtube. I mean, 648,609 views! That's some rarified air for such a niche product.
