Excellent footage Sir. I welcomed my big brother home in the summer of 1969 after his two tours as a marine in this messed-up war. This Ex-11B retired Paratrooper served with the 82nd Airborne Div. salutes all Veterans out there.💪God bless. Remember in these times, Pray hard, Work hard, and Train hard, for God's glory.
1966 I was 8 yrs old watching the Vietnam war on TV 6:00 o-clock news with Walter Cronkite having moms home cooked dinner in the comfort & safety of my home (Canada) I thought war was really really cool / neat-o. I wanted to be just like them well I am 67 yrs old now AND I APPOLIDGE FROM MY HEART TO ALL THE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN THAT LOST THEIR LIVES AND THE ONES THAT CAME HOME A BROKEN MAN ❤🙏💔🙏 FOR BACK THEN I KNEW NOT BETTER 😥
Kinnard was Brigade commander at Ia Drang and promoted to General, Moore was Lt.Col. and promoted to Col. despite the fiascos at XRAY followed by Albany. Go figure.
I’ve seen a lot of Vietnam docs and the footage I’ve never seen mixed with intelligent narration and editing is top notch. My only real feedback would be maybe choose a different font/typeface for the title cards when switching between chapters.
@@Deluxedracula thx for your feedback and watching. Will take it into consideration as it’s don’t we’ve used really since our first few months of posting videos. Maybe it’s time for a refresh.
In early 1970 they attached some First Cav troops to us on the Laos Boarder... NVA regulars. Sadly we lost several of those poor souls in a massive battle. I just got lucky, at first light I was out of frags, no 45 Cal magazines and three M-16 Magazines counting the one in my rifle. 8 First Cav men died plus several wounded ... Brave men all...a sad loss.

Thx for your service, and to your big brother. Your big brother was the best of his generation, as were you. Welcome home. 🇺🇸

11B 83-85. Deadeye dick. Always expert. Seeing all the malfunctions on this clup scares the shit out of me!
Sad Hal Moore was involved with 2 debacles
I wonder how many American warriors took their own lives instead of getting captured? So lonely

Why is the A.I. narration being used?
This is a real person doing the VO.
Good to watch and hear although I do not like the A I. narration.
This is a real person doing the narration. Thx for watching and commenting.
"its A.I." must be the default comment these days.
Hate the A.I. narrator
