I’m not going to lie. When I started watching the first video, I thought to myself, that is this? But I slowly saw it come together. And I’m very impressed. The finished product far exceeded my expectations. Great job man! That looks really cool!
Your track was amazing. You just inspired me to do one with my dad. I got him the same exact bronco for his birthday and we’ve been having a lot of fun with it. I can’t imagine how much we’ll enjoy doing this for our little beast! We also have a revo 3.3 within which we’ve been having fun (trying to make it run, because it’s kinda busted) and getting back into rc has joined us together. I’m moving out of the country in 3 months and this time is incredibly valuable for me. Thanks for your ideas. Great channel!
Baking pans from the Dollar store make good textured surfaces. I normally crush them & flatten them out. The use different objects to push up boulders & rocks. Once I get it the way I want I’ll tack it to the box or base. I’ve even stabled it to the base. The last step is to cover it with plaster cloth. To me it comes out ore natural looking than spray foam
I was scrolling through videos, looking for ideas of how to build a Rockcrawler course and I stumbled across this video. Outstanding job and thanks for all the ideas.
I watched outta order. Started with the second section of track first. Damn man, awesome. I'm gonna road trip from AZ to ya just to drive on it. Lookin' forward to the next section(?).
I made my track not long ago before seeing this and made mine modular. I did 3 pieces. Turned out great. With a few climbs, 3 hard bridges and 1 ladder bridge. Its fun.
Wow! I’m sure are thrilled with what you built, proud too. Beats pretty much everything I’ve seen others doing. Will sub to take a look to see what else you have done after the Summit. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.
This was motivation to start on mine .... Thanks for sharing Champ 😎✌️ I love what you did with whole project, especially the mud area. The details crazy🎉 Keep Up The Good Work!!
Dude this turned out so freaking cool and definitely has inspired me to start trying to make bigger obstacles like this love all the small detail work to make it look that much more realistic too! Can’t wait to watch the next one! 😎👊🏻
Thanks so much! Had a great time with this obstacle. I agree, the little details just throw it over the edge! Obstacle 2 will be hitting the channel soon. Ive already started on the project! Have a great day!!!
Right on get off the couch , Great job dude I’ll watch for the rest of them, this is super cool love it. Catch you on the next one peace and chicken grease 👍👍😎 Little rope bridge and spiral staircase even some kind a little Teeter totter
Thanks so much for the comments and the obstacle suggestions! A (1 of a kind) rope bridge is already on the list but ill keep in mind the spiral and totter for sure!!!!
Yeah does turned out awesome dude, I’d be proud to drive my bronco up that mountain yeah but I live in Michigan. I’ll be watching more, this is the beauty of this awesome Hobby yeah
this is so cool. you have talent. i just bought a trx4m and was thinking of making an indoor crawler course. i was going to do mine in sections as well. damn, this is badass!
Turned out great. Really nice looking and a cool course. That glue you are using for the rocks and other stuff seems to work great. Is it just like a crafters glue or something?
Thanks 👍. The glue is called Scenic Glue. You can find it a a hobby shop or online. It is the glue that alot of model rail road people use for their environments. It has been holding great!
How do you store your course? Laying flat or on its side? I’m thinking of doing the same thing because I want to be able to store it away in my basement when its not in use
Calling yourself big d. Well, made me want to beat you up!.. but here is your like but no sub.... you doing this and the reasons you explain for doing it makes up for any animosity...great build , do more and if you are passionate ill sub for sure! Gl my dude and nice build. Be proud. Ty
They there! I picked up all the items at my local @hobbytownusa store. The glue is called "Scene Glue". It is what people use for creating model train and diorama scenes. It has a great hold and dries completely clear. Thanks for checking out the channel and hope you have a good one!
Im using some metal hangers that I found in my local Hobby Lobby. Ill get a follow up and quickly show them in an upcoming vid! Thanks for checking it out!
I feel like to save space it would have been sick to make the sides their own climb lines also instead of just decoration. Then you could have multiple courses on the one board
I used Rustolium spray paint for the roads and open areas (brown & green)! Then finished with a water based paint with the airbrush! Even after all this time, the foam has kept its shape with no "melting" or other issues from the paint!

Looked great btw.. gg
Where did you get the foliage and gravel? And also what kind of glue did you use? Just ordered the trx-4m and want to build something similar

@@biggbhobbies I appreciate the reply! Definitely going to check it out. Just got my trx4m time to upgrade and build a course lol
how much would you say making this costed you? and what would you sell something like this for? very interested in making similar stuff!
if you water down the pv glue and give a fine code over the krok it will never go of the rock !
Thanks for the tip!
What r u hanging your trucks in the wall with great job
Im using some metal hangers that I found in my local Hobby Lobby. Ill get a follow up and quickly show them in an upcoming vid! Thanks for checking it out!
What glue are you using
I feel like to save space it would have been sick to make the sides their own climb lines also instead of just decoration. Then you could have multiple courses on the one board
The spray paint you used, what type?
Seems most will melt the foam
I used Rustolium spray paint for the roads and open areas (brown & green)! Then finished with a water based paint with the airbrush! Even after all this time, the foam has kept its shape with no "melting" or other issues from the paint!
You have no articulation. Shocks are way to stiff. Besides that great mod’s.
