Gotta love how cars would literally rot the body off and still run and drive with no sweat!!! They sure don't make them like they used to!!!!
absolutely!
Remember these cars when they were new and I was just a kid. Uncle drove one. How the time flies! Good to see you appreciate them. Good video!
thanks man!
@@IowaClassicCars Ryan do you have an Instagram and do you also sell some of these cars
It’s alive….it’s ALIVE!!!
Even though she’s a rust bucket, she’s still a 2-door hardtop Impala and really sharp! Hopefully someone will restore that beauty.
i think thats the plan!
I love the 59 impala!!! One of the most beautiful cars ever produced!!! Wish I could afford one! I like the white one because of how mechanically sound it is. But it definitely needs a lot of body work!!!
It's amazing how well that car fires up. Runs really good.
Awesome that you saved another 2 59 Chevrolet impalas! I hope you or someone keeps it running and makes it road worthy! I would get the brakes working and clean it up inside and out. It would make a fun project car to keep from being scrapped. Good luck with future endeavors. Take care.
oh no they wont be scrapped!
The 59’ still running with the indestructible 283 motor. 😎👍🇨🇦
My family had a 1959 sedan ,six cylinders in Cuba. I was an amazing reliable car.
Finally you scored a 2dr hardtop with a good body . I would completely strip the white one and swap the green body and make a great car again.
Oh yea ive scored a few in my lifetime
GREAT VIDEO !!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THESE CLASSICS ON THE ROAD!!!!! I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!! PLEASE KEEP UP THE TOTALLY AWESOME WORK!!!!!!
Thanks John
Nice old classic I know I keep saying it over and over but you just make me so happy to see you saving all these Beautiful classics
Love your passion for one of GMs best overall designs of that era
Thanks ken
The last designs of the great Harley Earl.
Always exciting to see what you find! Wish you continued success Ryan!
Thanks man!
Great score Ryan. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Dave
I remember back in 1964 lying in the back of my dad's 1959 station wagon, looking out the back window looking up at the stars
Back of the dark car on the back of the light car. One good car.
Exactly
I'm so happy to see these old american cars get back on the road again and get fixed up
59 Impala's are so beautiful. nothing compares to them.
Got that right
Wow , love that style Chevy
My favourite car in 1960 as a 10 year old in Australia. Be great to see those two meld into one magnificent beast. Keep them coming Ryan, enjoying your videos.
Thanks John!
Almost no body to hold it all together but still runs around ! Gives you hope for all the zombie apocalypse scenarios ! Go Impala go !
Haha yup!
Good feeling! Good cars! 2door impala shine! Gratulation!❤️😊🤘
Put those two Impalas together and you'll have a nice car. Good find.
Thanks!
sweet!! i love the 59 impalas, i had a 59 impala 4 door, with a 283 small block, back in 1992. all original. 118.000 miles.
👍 They are all gems in the eyes of the beholder
Absolutely
The 59 body looks good, should be able to piece one together from the two. Good buy.
Damn, good find. Wish I were younger like you ,love these old cars esp. 59 and 60 impalas. Keep wearing what you like.
thanks Dale
Those old Chevrolet’s are like a old Timex watch, they take a licking and keep on ticking!
What a blast!
I hope you're going to do a body swap on it even if you don't paint them or do any bodywork to them!
both have vin issues so a body swap wont be that easy
with the bare body, you can really see all the complex curves...amazing that Chevy went to that expense to tool up and fit all that together...abandoned in '61. great cars. radio delete is rare...heater delete is a unicorn
Not a delete, was an extra-cost option.
I'm in England and I absolutely love those Impalas. My Grandfather used to import similar cars in the 1960s for him to drive.
Glad you like em!
One that starts, runs, and is drivable. That’s a real plus.
Absolutely
I love "rusty gems" that are also runners!!! SWEEET ride!!!
Thanks!
ANOTHER super find!!
Thanks Ron!
This guy always comes across bad ass cars❤ best Contant on TH-cam🎉
Thanks man
Now you have a great opportunity to make one nice original '59 out of two. I would like to see the journey.
Very cool my friend.
That's awesome Ryan that you are still turning up 59 Impalas! 👍 gives me hope there will be an old Chevy in my future! Best to you man, always love your videos!
Thanks Jazz!
Awesome Impalas keep up the Great work!!!
Thanks man
I have been looking to buy one of these restored,my Dad had one when I was a kid. Great memories.
WOW I LIKE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS THIS IS GREAT!!!!! CANT WAIT ,, TO SEE WHAT U DO NEXT WITH THIS CAR.....PEACE BRO,.
Thanks Ron
Those concrete blocks are 90' out. Note how they use them when building.
Thanks Ryan for saving these cars.
thanks Jay
Thank you for sharing
Thanks Dan
Good Vid, will make a great project putting 2 to into 1 🖒🖒
thanks RIck
love them , awesome !
Thanks for watching
Beautiful looking car ❤
That's a good score there! Hope you can make the project work, but if they move on, is also why you're doing what you do.
Think my fav is the 69 Biscayne, but I'm a sucker for those....
I think ill be able to
68 was the last cool year, the 69 inside is the same as the 70 the grandpa cars.
Can't beat those small blocks. 265 and 283s.
I like all of them!
Thanks Nancy
Lucky find. Congratulations.
Thanks
Absolutely beautiful what else can you say. 💕💕
you got that right!
Awesome find man
Thanks man
Heater delete thats someone that was counting there pennies when they wanted to buy an impala
Yes very odd
Maybe that car is originally from a warm state like Texas, the driver didn't plan to drive in winter or the vehicle was supposed to be lighter, "sporty" :-) Who knows? It was 60 years ago.
It definitely represents a different time when the phrase standard options was not a slogan yet. Also picking out the exact car for what you wanted to spend was as easy as checking the boxes.. You have to love the story those options represent
Cant believe how nice the dash is
Exactly
Good thing you brought Muscle Mikey with! Wait, bankers have to work Saturday’s?!?
Mort! How are ya!
@@dannycasler4959 not worth a damn!
Hater!!
I got a biscuit
I got a biscuit
So cool 😎
Thanks Bobby
You're my hero :-) Respect.
haha thanks
Love the 59
Those are in some serious ruff shape. Good luck
Excellent video. I felt like I was riding around with you.
Thanks!
Reminds me of my rusted out 60 I had in HS with the slots on it.
Those elk horn exhaust manifolds work as well as headers.
Yee Haw!!!!!! Pretty darn cool!!!!
Thanks guys!
Great save there! Mikey is a big ol boy! Got a lot of muscle there!
Its always good to have muscle around! Lol
@@IowaClassicCars I have a couple friends like that too. They are great to have around for the heavy work!
very beautiful cars
You got that right
Nope I'm looking for a 59 Chevy El Camino but you got a beautiful car for starting out if you want to restore one great job
Ive had 7 lol
My Dad drove me and my mom home when I was born in a 1959 Chevrolet impala from the hospital. Id like to have one
thats a cool memory!
You did good Joe Bob. 59 is my favorite year Impala bubble top
Haha thanks
Cool 😎 I’m a 61 impala guy.
Man that’s so cool that you were able to drive the 59 around the farm 😅
Oh yeah
Cool old 59s man I love these things. I can’t help but think my wife would string me up by the nads if I kept bringing home these old girls. What’s your secret. Lol.
Michael you tough guy 💪
You have made me want to find a 59 so bad. I have a 69 SS Camaro restored but these 59’s are so cool. I’ll keep my eyes open in WI for you and will let you know if I can find anything for you to save.
NIIICE!!! bro
I'd call that one 59 with some assembly required!.
Great collection, show you how well they were made..today cars rott out in 5 years.
Agreed
That is cool were they stored in that old gas station your parked in front of.
Waching from Santa Monica Ca
Cool save bro . . .
Thanks Art!
That white impala runs great! Put the two bodies together and put her back on the road!
I figured you had a 59 hardtop. A shame that the Vin tag is no longer on the car. I would be careful on what you do with that car. Just because it no longer has a Vin tag doesn't mean it's a parts car. One thing I've learned in my days, is there's always another way for everything! Don't jump the gun and destroy that car!
Yeah i wont. I can get a vin, just takes some hoops to jump thru
Good. Plan has changed a bit. Not going to Clint's on the 11th, but the 25th. I'll get you pictures then of all his '59 stuff.
Probably drive from Iowa to Arkansas right now. Hopefully the green body has body ID plate to use. 1 nice classic out of 2 is not bad.
I saw 409 likes, almost hate to change that number! Kidding this video deserves a like so 410 likes it is. Nice find, keep saving these beauties!
Thanks Jeff
That is so cool that that car runs that good they don't build them like that no more
Thanks dave!
Hey, really good presentation and on-camera speaking voice. 👍
Thanks!
Mel Bch 🌴🇺🇸 Ima thinking it lived in the KEYS to rust that bad. Amazing how you find them. Use 2 door wagon. 🏄
Thanks James!
Hi Ryan. The green two door is pretty nice donner car. Love the white one going on a ride with ya.I love restoration on old cars and pickups. Always loved old GM cars and trucks. I’ve been a mechanic for years. If lived a little closer. I could come help ya. My father owned a body shop years ago. I have would help. Learned body and paint work. Always did want get an Faff sowing machine. Try my hand at upholstery.
thanks for the comment!
If the green one has a vin tag transfer everything from the white one instead of having to cut. The green one seems to be in very good shape.
sadly both have issues
115 degrees 😂😂👍
Nothing made today will never last like the old stuff.
true
I want to hang out with you !!! Lol. I’m near Albany New York. The running Impala is the coolest. I own a Roman Red 59 2DHT. 59’s have been my favorite since my moms got hit, and totaled , when I was 7. Keep finding them Ryan. Love your vids. I see you switched to shorts too ! Ha ha.
Come on by!
@@IowaClassicCars I may take you up on that. Oh btw. I have a blue 78 camaro too. Bought it new. When I saw your camaro in your garage with your 59 I was like wow just like my garage. Lol
My dad had what he said was a chinese red 2 door ,283 . I guess he bought it in about '63 or '64 it was pretty cool car.
Heater is not a delete, it was an extra-cost option until 1966 when regulations required defrosters and it was finally made standard equipment.
I have only seen 1 heater delete in my 7 years of hunting these cars. It seems like the heater delete was the option lol
Cool stuff . The white car probably didn't fit under the carport all the way and the back stuck out .
GOOD engine in that! Get some Berryman down the throat, and treat it to regular Marvel mystery oil especially for that first 90 days, and it will be unstoppable.
Thanks for watching
Great video any idea what these sold for?? Have a great day. Are you a reseller? Thanks
Like the runner. So what’s next?
Maybe another video or 2
I hope someday to challenge my skills with a car in that condition, I love working the metal to see what I can do. I'd give everyone at the cruise-ins something to talk about first though.
I recognize your name lol thanks for watching
anybody else see the lil kid get shot in the ear by a nerf gun from close range!LOL GREAT FIND 59 chevy IMPALA congrats!
Hola no hablo inglés. Pero tengo mi opinión sobre ese auto. Fue lo más hermoso que fabricó la chevrolet. El.cola de pato así que lo felicito por su recuperación.
