- Cut Content Is an issue that tends to persist throughout various adaptations within various different source material's. Today I wanted to talk about the topic at large and how it scales among source materials as well as some sensible reasoning about why it happens. Thanks for watching, your support is greatly appreciated.

No content was cut in the editing of this video
lmao, nice pun dude
I would personally call it an equivalent exchange. There is something to be gained when source material is adapted (animation, colour, voice, sountrack, etc), but something will inevitably be lost (whether major or minor)
Noblesse was the worst cut content manhwa
It would be nice if the recap movies a lot of animes have could include the cut content. I think Bleach’s hell movie did that with Vasto Lorde Ichigo fight.
I love Bunny Girl Senpai Anime 10/10 but even that have cut contents from the Light novel that I think is important.
Oregairu however.... let's just say the Anime had a bias that caused chaos among the fans. Lol😂
What about oregairu?
This one is gonna get some views fr sure
Id say it comes down to the media differences, a light novel has a different way of narrating than anime and manga.
Its difficult not only animating what doesn't have visuals but also the anime a lot of times needs to show what the novel can literally tell, think of a fight scene, in the novel they can make you understand every action and reaction with a few words but the anime needs to show a scene without words so there is information that is lost and in worst case making the anime not make any sense. For me there is no better examples than A Certain Magical Index season 3 and Rising of the Shiel Hero season 2, in Index's case the fact that its one of the most dense and conplex novels doesn't help (the anime looks generic in comparison).
An example of this done the right way must be monogatari series, where the anime and the novel can both be enjoyed equally for their differences.
Big Tower of God fan. Been reading it for years and I really enjoyed season 1. I would have liked things explored more but I felt they did the beat they could with just 12 episodes and I don't see a reason to be mad. A bit disappointed at best.
Date a live S3 and HS DXD Born are some of the worst adaptions i've ever seen. Seriously read the light novels for those two series you'll understand what i mean.
