I approach online courses with caution due to the prevalence of scams and deception. However, after closely following her for some time, I've come to trust her work ethic and integrity. This trust ultimately led me to purchase her photography course. While photography is a challenging career, I believe that with the guidance of the right person, I can overcome my fears and become the person I've always aspired to be. Thank you for providing this course and the helpful videos.

Katelyn, this is great explanation on how to approach one's settings when shooting.

Perfectly explained. This is exactly how I shoot and i've never reflected on it this way. Thank you!

Thank you! I’ve been using manual for a while but usually use auto iso and go back and forth between shutter and aperture. Can’t wait to try this out. 📷

Awesome video. A good starting point, specially using mirrorless cameras becomes easier to set. What you see is what you get. Then use lightroom to add your style. Well done!

Thank you, great video, manual is difficult especially when you have to move fast in different locations x

Yes, there can be a lot to think about! Getting this down can free up your brain to think of other things!

On R5, I'd rather go to 400 than 250, as DR is better at 400 than 250 (400 is sort of a 2nd native for this sensor).

I only shoot in manuel mode, but how do you manage when the light is changing constantly with clouds blowing by on a sunny/partly cloudy day.

I think you can definitely shoot in aperture priority. I don’t think it’s bad to choose a non-manual setting, but many people do. If you know you want to only shoot at f1.8 I think it’s totally fine because your shutter speed will adjust based on that light. If it’s constantly changing you can try changing the shutter speed consistently. I think you could try shooting with a higher ISO and adjust shutter speed as needed to be better safe than sorry. Shooting in raw mode also allows you more freedom when editing in photo editing software so you can adjust exposure later without a ton of loss of detail.

Shooting everything at 2.0 because of your new lens? Gee KJ, what lens did you just get, and why did you wait so long to get the RF 28-70 2.0? ;-)
