    It's got power bicycle components aren't designed for. Why separate drives are a solution and one I want. The designer always said it's a tweener not a replacement for a serious mountain bike. It weighs 64 pounds, get real of course that will limit its offroad capability, but you get something else in return. I'm going to try and sell a couple ebikes to get one of these.

    So it's a mid-drive but doesn't use the bike's own gearing for mechanical advantage but a fixed ratio belt drive on the non-driven side? Seems like a complicated way to do the same thing a heavy duty geared hub motor would

      the power would over stress the mtb drive system.

      Geared hub on rear of an mtb also not ideal. Probably works great on a commuter. But on an mtb on mtb terrain, you going to feel it.

      The weight is low and between your feet centrally located... Also you can change the gear ratio by swapping sprockets. The other thing is is it's easier to service the motor

      Still shit having the weight on the rear arm.

    Why didn't you take it on some single track, with that full travel that makes it an Enduro mountain bike but it wasn't reviewed on trails which it was designed for

      Yes you are right, we just did not have time but that's where it would really shine.

    How did you find the hand throttle as opposed to a thumb throttle?
    A thumb throttle seems easier for front brake control although we manage on a motorbike.

      I believe they are in the $6,500 range but you can get upgrades like brakes suspension and drivetrain (MTB) and it goes up from there

    32 mph is not good for 2,500 watt

    • @epiccycles9
      @epiccycles9  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We thought it was plenty fast for this bicycle, if you need more speed you should look at the Surron dirt bikes

      Kinda like that it is capped at 32. I think they are pushing this more for trials. Things could get dicey even at 20 mph on a single track or even a flow track. But I do get what u mean about the 2500 watts. I’m guessing the power is more for the torque to get u over stuff on the trail. I’m just guessing.

      it's not geared solely for mph.
