Hi! The ERASMUS scholarship (IMAESC) I’m eyeing indicates a grade requirement of at least 2.1 (UK grading system). Was wondering if I stand a chance if I have significant work experience altho my grades fall some points off.

I am saying this because iam in my final year and will graduate by may 2024 and certificate will be required by August 2024. You know that it takes a long time for certificates to be issued in Nigerian public universities.

Please, still apply. I know people who also had Master’s Degrees via scholarships and still got ERASMUS+ . Please don’t give up on yourself. You just may be very qualified!

SIWES yes. It is for engineering, eduction and some other sciences. Different programs have different time duration.

I think if you already have a Master's you can still apply but may not receive the scholarship..

If you already have another Master degree from the usa via Fulbright scholarship, would that affect getting Erasmus scholarship in a negative way?
Some programs would label you as over qualified and not admit you. At least that was the case for a few last year applicants.

I wouldn’t be discouraged to apply though. Just be aware that could be a possibility that you won’t be admitted because you are over qualified
