Even though my truck sadly will not fit in my garage I still program that into my truck so I can keep excess clutter out of it where not needed.

I have a 19 Lariat but I have always loved the King Ranch Interior. I was planning on upgrading my F150 with the new one. Untill I saw the Bronco. So I'm keeping this one and getting a Bronco as a toy.

If you have a garage, why wouldn't use you use the integrated door opener? It's better than having the garage door opener attached to your visor.
The ones I have had have poor range than a full size remote
Home Link sucks. Programming is hit and miss, range is a crap shoot.

@@02hreblue30 Haven't had any issues. Also, with the remote someone can easily steal the remote and get into your garage
The home link also times out to be non functional so that someone can't just break your window and open the garage.
@@Hashman10001 I suppose. But the alarm would go off on the car. Any car with Homelink also has a competent OE security sys.

@@swiniyounes5154 How many wheels are driven has nothing to do with it. The 2WD Lariat doesn't get them standard either.
Some people ask "why tf would anyone want to have 10 million speakers in a car"? The correct answer for non-car audio aficionados is that one can still enjoy the music while travelling on a highway with the windows/sunroof/vent cracked half way or more.

Yea you do need all the speakers to try and stop the rusty undercarriage. Every f150 has the new rusty undercarriage some more then others. You can find more at. F150gen14.com

Gi have a 2018 ford 5.0 bought new and maintained at ford . At 126,000 miles i need a engine rebuild and new transmition
Joshue Alvarez ford fucked up the 5.0, before 2018, the 5.0 had steel cylinder sleeve liner, 2018 and later, ford decided to go cheap and do an in-house plasma spray coating, which is the cause of this oil consumption issue

I use the home Link on my 2017 Edge Sport and my 2018 Sedan. I find it an important feature. I actually confirm this feature is included before purchasing a new vehicle. Great job explaining the new and amazing F-150.
I bought myself a navigator after having f series trucks forever, really liked it, went from there to an mkx.
My wife drove the mkx once and took it from me. I’m now back to a platinum f150 and now remember how much I like my goodies in my truck.

2016 lariat 502A fx4 here love the truck. Might try out the 2021 models in 5 years. For now still completely satisfied.
It was funny when you mentioned that no one uses the garage opener on the truck. However, on our new 2020 Titanium Fusion came with one as well and my wife uses it all the time instead of purchasing another garage door opener. So I would say some people do use it! Thanks for all your videos! Been following you for quite a while now! Very appreciated!
I use the built in garage door opener my GT350R. I love it, puts out a stronger signal too as opposed to the remotes provided by the garage door company.
I just ordered a 2021 F150 Lariat. It should arrive before X-Mas.
Getting out of a 2019 RAM Laramie Longhorn- loaded.
My must haves: leather, nice stereo and adaptive CC. I tried ordering the Lariat mid ($1270) plus the "Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0 - Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control w/ Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, Speed Sign Recognition; Evasive Steering Assist; Intersection Assist; Connected Built-In Navigation" then it requires the 360 camera- totaling $1500 above the Mid. Total upgrade $2770.
Looking at High Lariat group 502A, you get the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0, included plus a bunch of extras: heated steering wheel, led headlamps, chrome appearance package, rain sensing wipers... The High group cost $6920 but you get $1500 credit back for the chrome appearance package. Total upgrade: $5420
So to get the mid w/ the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0 I'm looking at $2770, or just order the High package and pay $5420. I would save $2650 going with them mid. So, I ask myself, what is the extra value of the High package? Well the heated steering wheel and the LED headlamps have got to be worth around $2000.
I ended up folding and went with the High group, Ford is good at making the packages more attractive than the individual options.

Don’t spend money on the Auto start/stop eliminators. Just unplug the bottom plug out of the three plugs on the little white module under the dash above the brake pedal

The best and the most detailed video on ordering F150 on TH-cam as of today. Really thank you for all your hard work👍. Totally agree with the recliner seats, people hauling and using it as a work truck would have benefited the most and Ford might have gotten a lot of converted customers from other brands, just ‘cuz of this one feature.
Wanted to ask u, what do u think of the tail lights? The look is from the models a decade ago. Kinda of a deal breaker for me, already missing my ‘17 F150 RubyRed. (Same package as urz previous one)
My f150 doesn't have the garage opener and I miss it dearly. My Subaru Forester had it and it was soooooooooo handy. Just touch it and the door opens/closes. It has a wayyyyyyyy longer range than the physical garage opener too.

Thanks for the great video. I was surprised that you don't use the built-in garage door opener. All of our last few cars have had built-in openers in the rear-view mirror, supplied to the car manufacturers by HomeLink.
Yeah....Programming the universal home link garage door opener is the first thing I do when my wife gets a new car. Always use it. Hate the bulky clickers.

FYI I, and most of my neighbors, utilize the Universal Garage Door opener; not only for the garage but for the security gate. I wouldn't be without it.

Did Ford fix their sun/moonroofs? Mine rattles bad in my 17 lariat. Dealership says its a bad design on ford. Is Ford ever gonna come out with a cooled steering wheel??? Would be very nice to have where it gets hot.

You know you can buy a used higher trim level for only $35k or $40k don't you? You can get a new XLT for around $35k.

Would like to see the comparisons for the 21 XL vs XLT------mid level versions.
The last one I saw was a dressed up XL/STX vs 302a XLT. That 302A is virtually the same as a Lariat with cloth seats instead of leather.
Who wouldn’t like a brand new 2021 Ford truck. But I just paid off my 2016 Ford F150 lariat I think I’ll keep it
I do use my universal garage door opener on the gate at the end of my driveway.
In the package for the King Ranch do you carried the under coating pkg. Also so the color comes in metallic? I love the Ford F 150. My dad always bought Ford cars when he was living.

Did ford bring back the diesel for the f150? If so what are your thoughts on it and maybe do a video on it.
I have '18 Platinum 3.0L powerstroke. Don't have any issues. My only gripe is the payload is 1260lb coz the diesel engine is heavy reducing your payload.
Your 1000% right those seats belong in the lower levels. Bc people who really use their trucks are really gonna put them to use. Let's be honest the Limited, platinum, and king ranchers aren't really gonna use these seats like they are supposed to be used. Its just a good gimmick to show friends
I'm with you on the flat reclining seats! Who couldn't use that no matter what trim level you get? Also why can't Ford give the heated steering wheel option on the 302a XLT?

I use the garage door opener everyday, because somehow my truck actually fits in it. I only wish that Ford would place those buttons on the rear view mirror like other manufacturers and Not on the sun visor, because my visor is usually flipped around due to the Texas sun. And yes, I wear sunglasses, but still. Just a minor annoyance.
I hate the dents a garage remote makes on the visor along with its sub par range. So I love my universal garage opener built into the car

Very cool stuff, but I think I'll wait till the next model year after they worked out the bugs. Its one thing to be a beta tester on a phone, its another when it's your family hauler.
Is the wireless phone charging optional for the Lariat? I may have missed it but it looked like the King Ranch had it but not the Lariat.
What's your turn around time for getting a King Ranch? I ordered mine in Boston, in April, and I'm told it will be another 3 months, and this is August!

I use the garage door opener. Other than some tech electronics like steering assist, I have most of those options already on my ‘13 lariat 🤷🏼. Great vid Mitchell! That’s a lot to go through

hey never seen any answers yet. How do you start the new 2020+ vehicles when the key fobs dead? i know the older models had little holders for the key and secret compartments. what about the 2020 escape, explorer, edge etc etc.? thank you
I have the Lariat and the sound system sucks. My dodge was better but the truck itself is insane sweet, just hope they actuslly put a good sound system in it one of these years.
I still use my home link because if my girlfriend parks my truck outside and leaves the window down a bit no one can steal the opener, and if the power is off they can’t access my garage door. With the regular opener they just push the button and they’re in.

I skipped this option. It seems like Ford will charge more to activate this feature, maybe a subscription model? I'm not going to pay $995 for something I cannot test out. What if it sucks?
Furthermore it would seem that should be a dealer installed option later.
