I looked into buying property in Bulgaria a couple of years ago. Is it true that you have to set up a company and buy the property through that… something to do with being a non national or something. How easy is it to do?
Yes for brits yes it's very simple the estate agents do it for you if your lucky like us with Irish passport then you don't and buybin name like all other eu
What an amazing plot and buildings, this is what I want! Cheap and rustic. I can see myself living in my van and doing this up myself in a few years when my daughter flies the nest in a few years. Peaceful ☺️ Grow my own food, get solar. I wish I had the means to move now 😂 but what I’m meant to have at the time I can do it will show up.
So far £5k in and nearly finished so keep watching we think £10k with all fancy extras we want doing 😂 I don't work retired young wife is digital nomad we can work anywhere in world
The only thing with this is if you end up pulling it down then the Land is to expensive 5K for 1600M2 is expensive That's not even 1/2 an acre and a Bulgarian Lawyer told our friend that Land is not that expensive in Bulgaria unless it's Prime Building Land They were getting 13 acres with a woodland,well and run down house near Sofia for €20.000 euroes So if it needs demolishing then £5K is expensive
@@sandypollard562 that's because he's a man 😅 to pay you need to set up a Revolut bank online to do international payments his bank wouldn't like him add funds to it and he gave up in end We did it but does take a good few hours to work out all this international banking payments as they don't have sort code and account numbers it's iban number
Yep, problem is a ownership, many family relatives can own this place, uk must be very bad now finally sink in, brits in Bulgaria cheapest place in europe, what about France,Spain.
Yes definitely this is in big village has pubs 7 shops and petrol station and close to other towns we are in pleven now 1 hour drive for city big shops we are buying
Think of bigger project knock down clear land put fence round and as land already has water waste and electricity put a tiny home on or camper or caravan and u have a cheap holiday park up 😊 I was thinking of doing this looking for a better plot with better access for motorhomes then use as a aire

Yes fulltime now we are on eu passports we get our residency next week
