I suspect there are other planets out there beyond our reach with life. Which is why the Bible says, "We have not seen or heard of the things that God has planned for us." I feel we will be rather astonished. There are only two ways to view it. If we were created it's unfathomable to believe we are the only ones. The "Immortal soul" is a pagan concept. The egyptians believed in the Ka (spiritual body) that would go to the afterlife and be weighed on a scale and be judged accordingly.
      The first lie was uttered by the serpent when Eve said, "If we eat of it we shall die" and he replied "Surely you shall not die, but God knows that if you eat thereof, you will be like him".
      And today, all of christianity believes the serpent and teaches about the immortal soul.

I'm convinced that a deeply thoughtful approach to faith is one very valid path to God.

    When a person gives his/ her kast breath, where does the soul go? It becomes part of Nsture?

    I always wondered about the language diferences and the comparison of the Greek word for soul Psyche and the Hebrew word Nephesh and how different they might be!?! Psyche most likely refered to consciousness which is much different than the Hebrew word..

    • @Karatop420
      @Karatop420 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Psyche is a big word with a lot of history in Greek. It means....all dat wrapped into a single word. The language difference is huge.You gotta keep in mind that primitive "Biblical times" was going on the same time as, and after, classical antiquity. The time of Aristotle, Galen, Homer, Hippocrates.
      ...the Greek says the breath of Zoe was put into Adam's countenance. Zoe is also a big word. Hell, countenance could mean face, facial expression, or support. Nevermind 2 greek words so big they're the names of goddesses.😂
      ....then we get to Eve. Wherever that word is derived from, it apparently MEANS "from man." That doesn't work in greek OR herbrew. That only works for the etruscan virago. A virago is a female warrior. Minerva is THE virago, virgin warrior goddess of A-thena (not dying). Eua is the virago in the volgate. So, through the GREEK language we can understand why her name is the orphic name for demeter and dionysus, the bacchic shout EUA!!! The holy virgin on the hill, the dawn bringer. Every bit of the story fits perfectly with the Saturnian mystery. No hebrew needed. The hebrew is weak. Adam even means invincible. Cronus's Scythe is ADAMantine.

    • @Karatop420
      @Karatop420 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @shayalynn because Euae is the sacred name of Demeter. I think the Hebrew name is a caananite great mother name, tho. But, the creation of Eve is the same as the creation of Athena, one of many mames of the virgin warrior goddess. The septuigent calls her Zoe, and the kurios puts the breath of Zoe into Adam's countenance. The bacchants would shout EUAE EUAE IAO IAO. "I am the Alpha and the Omega" is literally Iáo.

    • @Karatop420
      @Karatop420 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @shayalynn here's another interesting one, I genesis 2:23. Isha doesn't mean "taken from man." Neither does gune. Or woman. However, Athena and Diana have an Etruscan epithet "virago" that does mean "taken from man." So, genesis 2:23 ACTUALLY makes perfect sense in the Latin Volgate, and none of the others.🤣

    • @shayalynn
      @shayalynn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Karatop420 Where did you get that from by the way? I remember very vaguely reading that from someone who mentioned it in their writings but I can’t recall the name of the person. I would like to reread it.
      And regards to the Septuagint using the word zoe, that would make sense because it means life and it’s not really a proper noun. Hawwah comes from the root hayah, meaning life. In ancient times, people took names for their gods by common words in their language and sometimes even vice versa. We can see this in the Hebrew Bible as well such as the word for sun (shemesh), moon (yareach), tiamat (confusion, darkness), death (mot), etc. I could give very many examples.
      I have noticed something peculiar about the Name YHWH (יהוה) too. The name for Eve in Hebrew is (הוה). Just the difference of the letter yod. Then again, names were not really viewed in the same way as modern time, as it was more about the meaning behind a name (YHWH meaning “I AM that I AM” or the Self Existing One, the One *who lives* and gives life, etc). Eve was given her name because she would bring forth life as a mother so she was called the mother of all the *living*

    I forgot how much I like your videos. I've been to busy thinking for myself. Further, Adam was not deceived (1Ti 2:14 NABO) Neither was Esau concerned for an earthly inheritance. He settles beyond the heavens, far from the fertile earth, far from the dew of the heavens. And, it appears, he is bringing Jacob with him.
    Adam had a forest of trees to learn from while he prepared a kingdom at the foundation of the world, a promised land, a heavenly home, the Garden of Eden. He then settled east of Eden until the day he wields the fiery sword guarding the way to the Tree of Life on the day of vengeance as judgment; setting up the abomination of desolation in himself, as the Temple without one stone left standing upon another.
    Vegetation was created before the sun and the moon. You are broccoli. That's another story. He found you in a wasteland, empty, and void of understanding, having become corrupted by sin, and he shielded you as the apple of his eye.
    Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau! (Gen 32:12 NABO)
    Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, and flinging himself on his neck, kissed him as he wept. (Gen 33:4 NABO)
    Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light. (Mat 11:29-30 NABO)
    Then (Jacob) had a dream: a stairway (dirt heaped up for a highway in the desert)

    lm not exactly sure what your saying here. That people and animals don't have an in dwelling soul? Jesus tells us to not fear man who can kill the body but to fear God who can kill the body and the soul. So we have an in dwelling soul. People and animals are the same as in they are both nephesh, so both have an in dwelling soul. The difference is people are made in the image of God. Animals do not have the knowledge of good and evil so there is no need for redemption. I believe there soul goes to the Farther, the soul has to go somewhere.

Man is created twice for the reason that man has two parts -- which Christ discussed with Nicodemus in John 3.6. The *_Image_* of God is NOT one of *_Dust,_* but of *_Spirit._*

    It is a bad retelling of the Eleusinian Mystery Ritual. Same as Resurrection. The forbidden fruit is the drug that caused a three day NDE. An OOBE. Consciousness is fundamental. (Max Planck)
    We are the actor. Our ego is the character we play.
    The whole story, A&E and JC, Lazarus too, were part of Greek religious ritual.

    There are two creations in Genesis. One in Genesis 1 where God makes man in his image and likeness and male and female and in Genesis 2 where an odd mist goes up from the ground and God makes man from the dust. As God has to be immortal, that is he never dies, and man is made in his image and likeness then man must have an immortal part to him which has to be his soul or energy or spirit. In the NT it says God is a Spirit and you worship him in spirit and truth. Due to the problem of entropy the arrow of time where everything physical eventually breaks down an degrades, God cannot be physical in the way we understand it. If he can appear physically he must have a different kind of body like the resurrection body that can disappear and reappear and change from the material into energy. Therefore, there has to be a type of soul. God definitely sheds his Holy Spirit which is a power or energy and is in the main invisible though no doubt he could make that visible if he so wished to, like the pillar of fire by night and glory cloud by day. So it is not solid matter or flesh. Why there are two creations in Genesis is not easily explained. Though the wisdom texts of the Dead Sea Scrolls, 4QInstruction pick up on these two creations, as do Philo in Opif and St. Paul in Corinthians and they all speak of an Heavenly and Earthly man. Presumably the two become one,😊 at the end of time and end of entropy.❤

    So the Serpent was right after all? Yahweh Elohim in Gen 2 lied to Adam when he warned him he'll die if he eat the fruit, since he did not die. He went on to live to 930 years old. And his eventual death had nothing to do with eating the fruit since he was created a mortal being, meaning he'll die at some point anyway.

    Could you please explain a couple of verses after Genesis 2:7. The reference to the river encompassing Ethiopia.
    Geographical Significance
    The mention of the Gihon river in the context of the Garden of Eden has led scholars and theologians to explore its real-world counterpart. The challenge lies in identifying the exact location of the Gihon river and its connection to Ethiopia. Some historical and archaeological research suggests that the Gihon river could be associated with the Nile river, which has played a vital role in the history and culture of Ethiopia. The Nile’s life-giving waters have sustained civilizations and shaped the development of the region.
    Is the Garden of Eden in Ethiopia? It would make sense because Adam was formed out of Earth.

    GOD created in Genesis 1.
    In Genesis 2, the Lord God breathed.
    Adam breathed in through his own nostrils.
    God is within you... and the word became flesh and dwelt in us....
    The seed of the woman (earth) is the Father in you, the Light of who i am..... be still and know, I Am God.
    Eve represents woman, earth, the breath of man... whilst the sepernt represents the adversary to that mind of man.... a spiritual mind (wisdom) emnity between the two.
    Adam eats from the tree and dies from the light into another light, a new foundation of thinking.
    If your spiritual mind is awakened, then the carnal mind is the adversary, and vise versa.
    Abraham is the father of lies.

    I don't believe Adam and Eve's soul was immortal like the angels. God put the Tree of Life into the garden. This gave their souls immortality. Without it, they would die at some time. Their body was a living soul because of their appearance. After they ate the apple, They saw themself as naked. They were looking at the same body as before so why did they look naked? In Revelations, we will get the Tree of Life back again to keep our bodies immortal and looking like the angel's body. We will be like Adam and Eve in the garden before eating the fruit. Our bodies will have a glowing white garment on them like we were angels. No washing, always clean, or won't wear out for eternity. Nice.

    I have come to understand that Adam was an eternal being UNTIL he disobeyed God and he died THAT day. Meaning that which gave him eternal life, the Spirit of YHWH left him. (No more access to the tree of life). His soul which gives our human body function remains until that breathe departs on our physical death. That's why we must be born again to give our soul eternal life again. The soul without the power of the Fathers spirit is not eternal. This is the reason why Jesus didn't die for our sins. If so he would still be dead. That's the price due on Judgement day, eternal SOUL death. No one can pay that price for another. Only repentance wipes away our sins. As John the Baptist taught clearly. If repentance wipes away our sins then there's no need for anyone to die except our own carnal will. How the story got so complicated over the early first centuries has become more and more clear. Especially in the last 15 years. The Spirit is on the move worldwide.

      @@neclark08 as I said the condition was yhe obedience of faith, the choice to obey by eating from the tree of life, or eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He could not do both.
      So I agree as his immortality was not for always, as OSAS is conditional on the obedience of faith.

As a retired Archaeogist and a sculptor, , I must call out this mud pie claim as obviously this oh so seriously discussion omits human evolution by natural selection makes this creation story unworthy of intelligent interpretation. Did the talking snake that talked to a woman made from the dirt man’s rib, did the snake and Eve have a soul ?
