    Bike looks much better, always thought the rear mudguard was way to high at the back. When you lowered the rear frame, you also moved it back, coincidentially just enough to get the mudguard mounts where they needed to be. Clutch should be a lot better as well. Thanks Mike.

    Try running antenna wire full length of bike Maybe needs to be un coiled to receive signals

    Michael, how long are you leaving the satellite receiver on before you expect the speedo to work? If the GPS units I have on various cameras are anything to go by, they need from 3 to 6 minutes before they have acquired sufficient satellite connections (2 minimum but 3 better) before they wiil give an accurate fix. I would assume that the unit needs a fix before it will start reading speed or the rate at which the fix changes.

    The C15 looks so much better. Great work Michael.

    Would fitting shorter shockers do the same job?

      The longer ones were fitted to match the heavier later forks and not make the fork angle to great.

    ' Morning Michael , I have a GPS Speedo on my Motorcycle , it does not work in the Garage , and , when riding through a tunnel of Trees , it fluctuates . If you have not already done so , perhaps try it outdoors . Thanks for keeping me entertained .

    Michael I began to think you had lost the plot chopping lumps out of the C15 but it really looked nice when you finished! Cheers!

    Love the 250 BSA trials bike! Excellent result on the frame mod. The bike needs to be ridden in a long distance trial ( road and sections, long course.)

    I just love BSA 250 singles. I was talking about my bikes to a parts manager and a guy overheard me and I just swapped me he walks up to me and he goes you're the Beezer guy and I go yeah I got a bike you might want he shows me a beautiful 1964 C15 Starfire with a gorgeous alloy tank and he wanted $500 for it. He delivered it and the money couldn't fly faster out of my hands my mechanic and my riding buddy both wished that something like that could have gotten but I told him this is what you get when you go to a swap meet you never know what you might find and you never know what you might buy and bring home. I might put it on the road because the doctors are cutting talking about cutting off half of my left foot but I tell them as long as it's still hurts It's Not Dead. Don't let the bastards keep you down. And yes they are out to kill us.

      That is a fantastic story! Was the Starfire name given to the C15? I believe it was just the B25.

      @@xa1a the Starfire name was put on the C15 and then it was changed to the Barracuda for the newer motor. My 250 Beezer two up go 60 miles an hour with plenty of throttle left over handle so well it's the only bike I've ever ground a footpeg on.

      @@frankmarkovcijr5459 thanks! It’s always nice to learn something! I’m redoing a 1970 B25 currently and it’s been a great way to learn about BSA (and motorcycles as this is my first one). Cheers!

      @@frankmarkovcijr5459 BSA handling must be good, because Michael told me my 500 Yam is a B50 copy, and my 500 Yam handles incredibly well off road, it amazes me, and I ride modern off-roaders.

    COG is course over ground&SOG is speed over ground which speedos normally work off.COG is used for boats only so see if you can change the settings to SOG..Ozzy UK.

    • @linrepboras
      @linrepboras 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree, the GPS receiver (small black box) sends both COG and SOG to the speedometer. Seems like the speedo is set to "COG" and there should be a switch or switches enabling you to change to "SOG" in the speedo and all is fine. Should be described in the manual
      or check the manufacturers online support.

    That C15 is a beauty. Are you not bothering with a chain guard Mike?
