Oh the night sweats are horrendous. And I have a little weird taste in my mouth. Can you possibly go on oral chemo? My Dr just recently put me on Xeloda and I don't have to do any infusions at the moment except for Avastin. I was on folfox for 12 more treatments before the Xeloda. Glad to see your doing well. Hang strong felloe colon cancer warrior. Praying for you always.

Stephanie Genereux I think the oral chemo will be considered when FOLFIRI stops working or becomes too much. Best of luck on your journey!!!

Stephanie Genereux I think Xeloda is the next chemo I’ll be placed on when FOLFIRI stops working.

Hi Shannon nice to see you for a little update! Glad to hear that you gained some weight. I do have a question, probably you mentioned it in your other videos but why do you take Folfiri? My dad is taking folfox... My other question is: with what things were you diagnosed? Where is your tumor? How many and where did you have your metastases? From person to person it is so different...
My dad is on chemo no4. 22nd April will be a CT to check liver mets and the lung. I hope there are no new mets and they can start to operate on his liver.

Miliko207 I was on FOLFOX first but after I had a reaction to it on round 7 or 8 and my liver enzymes were going in the wrong direction and my platelets were dying in my spleen, we decided it was to hard on my liver and I was switched. I was diagnosed with Mets to liver and lungs and after my continued pain in my arm, they discovered the met in my arm and I had to have a rod inserted to help the break and stabilize the humerus. I’m praying for you and your family! Stay positive!!

I don't have any questions, just hoping you continue to have your numbers go the right way. And as always, you look absolutely lovely. Here's a weird thing, some people have voices for youtube (old folks, we used to say "you have a great voice for radio") You have the most serene voice. Doesn't matter how bad things might be, you always sound so grounded and serene. Stay well.

Wishing you less side effects. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on the 4th March 2020. I have since been on folfoxriri. It consists of avastin, oxiplaxin, irittocan and 5 Fu, not sure if I spelt any of those correct but maybe you can see which one gives you the cold sweats and maybe you can take periton or an allergic medicine to help. I think it’s the irrittocan that causes the pain and night sweats but I’m not a doctor but I get the night sweats after the irritocan. I’m been on three cycle so far. I go in every 2 weeks and spend four days. The 5fu chemo is usually 2 days that’s why in there that long. I’m from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 so health care is free so thank God cause cancer treatment is extremely expensive. I just turned 39 and just last month I have stage 4 colon cancer. I’m fighting and love ❤️ your videos. I gain strength from your determination and your positivity. Please continue to do videos as long as you can and you’re a blessing to me cause I was so scare and I’m a guy

My husband has stage 4 colon with Mets to liver..diagnosed last March, had 12 rounds of folfox and a liver resection..was in remission for a few months but now it has come back🙁 it is now in the other lobe of liver and abdominal lining...he will be starting folfiri on tues. did you have problems with diarrhea? We were told that is a big side effect. He did very well with folfox..no nausea,no loss of hair, mild tingling but was very fatigued. Love your vids...they are so uplifting..take care of yourself and enjoy everyday..jodi
