If that is a wig, it's the most natural looking one I've ever seen. You look beautiful as usual

Just wanted to let you know that your beauty shines from the inside out. If more of us could have your sweet grace and positive attitude the world would be a much better place. God bless you and your family!

Thank you for sharing Shannon. I have stage 4 colorectal cancer with the cancer having spread to my liver and I am having to make the same decisions in regard to my retirement fund. It was good to see I am not alone and there are others out there. Thanks once again and I wish you all the best :-)

Shannon I just recently heard about your diagnosis. I asked Jesse (Tigger) about Lawton & he filled me in on you. I have to go through & watch all of your videos, but I admit I cheated & started with the most recent. You will enjoy teaching the kids how to cook & don’t be surprised if Lawton is the better cook. Jesse isn’t afraid to try things while Shelby still eats Kraft mac & cheese. Bless you for sharing your story. My friend I worked with was in her early 70’s when she was diagnosed with stage 4 and it’s close to 10 years now she’s still working! Stay strong & keep smiling 😘

Shannon, I came across your channel about a year ago and started watching until one of my TH-cam friends Diana Franklin passed November 2019 from cancer so I left TH-cam for a long time with you always in my thoughts and prayers. When I came back for the first time I looked for you straight away and was overjoyed to see your face and that you are doing well! You are tough and an inspiration to me with your positivity,I feel a little stronger and a lot less alone when I watch your video's, it is amazing how we stumble upon certain sources of inspiration, especially from someone you have never communicated! God Bless you and your family, always in my prayers!

Thank you so much for the update - I was worried. So glad the doctor steered you away from the 2 year option!

Grizellda I was glad I was steered away fro two years as well. I knew he doesn’t have a crystal ball, but it gives me hope!

Your retirement/disability info was helpful. My husband was only 2 years from retirement when his stage 4 colon cancer was diagnosed. It’s been a very stressful year trying to figure out the financial part and the best options. It’s good to see you again...God bless you!

Sharon Tennant I agree about the financial part of the disease being difficult. Between insurance and SSDI and retirement, it’s a lot!!

Hi Shannon love the hair, I was wandering how you stay so positive, I was diagnosed with stage 2colon cancer a year ago, I had surgery and did 6months of chemo and now every little thing that happens i get so scared the cancer has come back, I don't know how I'm gonna cope sometimes.

Hey Shannon. Good to see/hear you. Am glad you are doing ok - and still looking amazing! Loving the hair 😍.
As soon as I saw you had made a new vlog, it was the first thing I clicked on to watch.
Cancer treatments are making progress all the time so keep positive Mrs :))
Stay safe whilst we get this stupid virus under control and keep the vlogs coming. It really is lovely to see you - you are such an inspiration.
My husband has Bowel cancer, so I resonate with much of what you talk about.
    Stay safe and keep smiling.

    Hello Shannon
I was hoping for your next video to see how you are doing. I am glad to see that you look so good. Your wig is really nice, I could never tell that it is not real. I am alsi glad that your oncology takes precautions. As a med student I can tell you that the face mask is the worse. One of the reasons I am not going into surgery :)
The shot you were talking about, is it to increase your WBC? My dad told me last time that his lymphocytes are close to normal. Still low but close. That was before the chemo I think. Tomorrow he has number 3 and according to the blood markers his oncologist thinks that he can have in the next 6 weeks a surgery on his liver.
I hope you and your family are doing fine with the social distancing and covid. I dont like it. I am not at home because I did not want to fly home etc. But I wish you a happy eastern and enjoy your time with your family!
PS: I am not surprised that your daughter takes it a little different. My flatmate is also like that ;)

Miliko207 Have your father’s surgeon use an epidural for pain relief. I really think that made a huge difference in how quickly I was able to recover. I wish him the best on his upcoming scans! Thank you for your kind words! Take care!!

@@shannonwarr3625 Thank you. The side effects are not great at all. This is my second rodeo with this crap. Was stage 3c in 2017 did the 6 months chemo and it was back within 6 months. Now doing this again until who knows when. Same cancer as you. You are an inspiration to get on here and talk about your experience. Since I started Avastin with this second go round it has destroyed my teeth and gums so I am slowly losing those too. I feel so defeated.
