Best modern hymn I’ve ever heard. I came across it being played by a pair of preachers while walking through the centre of town. When I first came into earshot, I was utterly worn out by a long week (a long couple of years, honestly, but that’s another story) but, by the time I’d finished passing, I felt like I could take on the world. Must have been walking 4 inches taller. Wonderful, wonderful work.
This song reminds me of of the disney Pocahontas, Colors of the Wind. I get emotional listening to that song because even though it's not meant to, i find it glorifies God as it is about the overwhelming beauty of creation. This video and song made me tear. The beauty of Creation is proof enough of God's majesty!

Love the lyrics and music, but a nit: the text shows up too late if you like singing along with the video, it needs to be just a little earlier vis a vis the music.
I assume they’re complaining about the lyric “you’re the Lord of every man”? The song obviously means Lord of all mankind, not Lord of every “male”. The Bible itself often uses man to mean all humans. I’d say they chose to stick with that because it not only fits syllable-wise but also rhymes. 🎶 You’re the Lord of every person ... And your cry of love rings out across the...(something that rhymes with person? 😅) Man and land fits much better, and still gets the message across clearly. (And just FYI, I’m a woman and not at all offended by their use of man here. Because, again, it’s used to mean mankind.)
They could us the word “one” instead of “man”. Doesn’t quite rhyme but is inclusive. Not a point of contention with me but it is a step in that direction.
