Idea: Because of a major accident on a very busy road the city hires another company to make a second detour, which is perfectly safe. This leads to Department Safety Company attempting to "fix" the new detour because it isn't up to their code and clashing with the second company. Shenanigans and chaos ensue.
Here’s a detour pitch: construction work on a highway in the mountains, the detour goes to the highest mountain point with nothing crazy to lull safety, at the end a jump that just leads drivers just to land pass the construction. Edit: also park ranger cameo to help enforce the detour, like hit a tree or go off road the ranger goes ballistic on the offender.
With how many times the Detour Company died, and how impossible they setup their detours, It would be not impossible and HILARIOUS to see the SCP Foundation investigate (fruitlessly, because comical characters aren't SCPs), but they would fail and fall down each time. XD
GENIUS IDEA HERE: Have a new detour company competitor in Los Santos, and they are an actual normal safe detour company. And the original detour company gets jealous and sabotages the new one.

The metoer contained a multicolored amorphous blob that was essentially a bunch of spores from outer space that was released when the researchers opened it. It caused all kinds of monstrous mutations to people, animals and the enviroment. I think the movie "Annihilation" was based on it. Point is, it's a great story and could maybe work well for an RP. The idea of the enviroment changing to something monstrous while players figure out why seemed like an interesting idea. Most horror RP's, understandibly, revolve around a monster, killer, and the like, but maybe one where a mutating enviroment is the danger could work instead.

IDEA: Detour - make it a huge arch. Pretty much ur safest bridge ever but when they get to the top you play some strong wind sounds and then you push their car off like the wind did it. 💨🚙 use the force, see how far they go! Have the bridge high in the sky so you can launch them miles away!
