Just a small correction here I realised after posting. This Fiido L3 actually HAS A USB port for charging on the display. It was well hidden but it's there.
I tried it Steve, it's not very good, to weak to charge GoPro and doesn't impact the phone much. Haven't tried it riding however, only idle. So maybe it feeds more while riding?
A quick update. I did manage to properly unlock the bike at the display. I had to try it a few times before it played ball.The wheel spun up to 41kmhr. On the road it hits 32kmhr(20mph). So this is a great help.
Great bag, but would like to see how exactly you fixed it and with how much load you can go around... is there a possibility to make a front rack or basket too? Thanks
Since the bag stands upright the rear rack takes all the weight. The plastic feet go either side of the rack perfectly and prevent it moving side to side. I put a bungee cord on the lower D-clips either side of the bag and loop it under the rack. That keeps it in at the bottom. The back of the saddle presses against it at the top so the bag is steady. The shoulder straps go round the saddle bar and hook back into the D-clips. So it sits very snuggly. It can take full weight, shopping groceries etc. You don't even know it's there. Be aware also there is a slightly bigger brother to this bag, 2 inches wider all round - that would not be so suitable. The difference is subtle - the way to tell is the measurement of the aforementioned feet - 15cm(7.5 inches) apart - perfect fit for the rear rack.
Basically, yes. To insert the T1 battery into the L3 bike, you will need to put a wedge of wood or foam under it since it is 1 inch shorter. To put the L3 battery into the T1 bike, you will need to either remount the sliding rail 1 inch higher or order an L3 sliding rail from Fiido. I suspect the BMS in these batteries are different as the T1 pulls more current but you might find very little difference. I had an MX02S battery installed on the T1 and it had a different acceleration characteristic but it was still ok. But the T1 battery on the L3 should be good. I must try it when I get a moment.
I actually did get round to trying the T1 battery in the L3. Works perfectly - no problem. Consider it as a spare battery. All you need to do is cut out a rectangular piece of polystyrene aero board about 1 inch thick. This is to place under the battery in the bottom of the cradle to support its weight. No difference in performance that I could see except that it's 15% smaller in capacity. It will still give you 30 or 40 extra miles to extend your range.

No buy there are 11 tooth sprockets to be bought on the net
