      @@califor2a830 there solid trucks I’ve had mine since I was 17 I’m 27 now as the 2uz is fun af i rewatched the tundra builds too to get an idea how to build my rear end cause I converted it to the 3rd gen tundra tail lights/bedsides but I only have mid travel need to get my bread up and not my funny up cause these parts aren’t cheap lmao

    Pretty inspiring to people out there not letting any limitations get in their way. A few simple tools, beer fridge and good friends is all you need 🤘🏼🤘🏼 Well done, sick ride!

    I have the same 1st gen tundra single cab, I plan on doing a short bed swap but a street build. Lowered and all with a boosted uz engine.

    Ok, now i think we need a seek and find mission!
    James mentioned the Psychotic truck so i think we need a mission to find and do a walk around and bring that truck which provided such famous footage out of hidding.
    What you think?

    that toyota looks so awesome with the rear track the same or close to the front. i cant do the narrow rear with 6" per side wider in he front. the benefits of a narrow rear cant outweight the goofy looks. this bitch is a warrior!! awesome build bro. cheers

    Soo light and wide! Lighter than my stock access cab, and wayyy stronger, wayyy more clearance and travel, its garage built, etc. So sick. This is my kinda truck! Im not very impressed with the huge gawdy luxury prerunners. Obvously theyre cool... but anything can be cool if you just hurl an unlimited budget at it. There's something to be said about these types of rigs. And when you buold your own shit from the groung up, you literally know your rig inside and out 👌epic.

    Slap a magnussen blower on that lightweight 4.ohh and really rip...that things probably 500lbs lighter than a new 4runner

    • @bajayota
      @bajayota 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As the truck sits it was 4580lbs. Will be a little heavier when completed, still need to build a front bumper and add about 6 tubes to the bed cage. I want a supercharger so bad lol

    • @bajayota

      Thank you. I was "hoping" around 50-60K but these days everything is usually double what I think. Maybe not as far off as I usually am. LOL Trying to compare to cost of Speed SXS with options and enclosed cab (if they ever actually build them) which would have been around 50-55K if I wouldn't have sold my early reservation.

    Can a LC200 steering rack be swapped over for a lil more strength?

    • @bajayota
      @bajayota ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a totally different rack. My options are a rack slider or a swing set steering system with a steering box mounted under the driver.

    Is it possible to build a prerunner that you could still use as a truck? I.E. a usable build?

    • @tkelly1087
      @tkelly1087 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There are builds that use a cantilever system that mounts shocks horizontally underneath the bed. With that type of system, you can have long travel and also retain most of your bed space.

  • @jeffshetland6781
    @jeffshetland6781 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Dude Evan you say incorrect information all the time! Jensen’s tundra was called the DARKSIDE LIMO not sand limo. And his truck was on 37’s not fucking 40’s bro 😂 the only reason any tundra breaks racks is too much down travel. Once we strapped Jensen’s front end down to 15” instead of 18” he never broke a rack again. THATS the big “secret” to stop breaking racks on tundras.

    • @anthonyolsen9299
      @anthonyolsen9299 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cvanden8712 when your leaf pack runs out then you have shackle drop.. their isn't any springs it's just drop out.. nothing there,just free floating. You probably get 16 inches of real working travel and 3 inches of nothing..but people want to call it 18 inches.. I have a leaf spring truck and a link truck.and I've been building race trucks and racing desert for 23 yrs now.
