Love your reviews. Thanks for actually showing so many features of the bikes with nice stable images. Only problem is I keep wanting to buy more motorcycles.
You know your stuff. I bought a new '22 Vitpilen 401 a year ago, absolutely love it. It's the apple of my eye. It has Supermoto Mode which turns off the rear ABS. No mechanical issues after 2800 miles, still looks like new.
I'd love to be able to ride everything, but with these brand new bikes that aren't designated as demo vehicles, the choice comes down to no video or this type of video... Given those two options, I'll do this every time. Hopefully this gives some context when you click over to the other videos that are on TH-cam and they're able to ride them.
@@PeterLoweOne Good stuff, and that was exactly what I did. Got the thorough review from you and then picked up a video on it from Bike World Used Review that featured the guy riding and reviewing the ride. Thanks again
Great review, as usual, Peter. I love my Husky. I haven't had a single problem over the last 12 months of ownership. I rode my bike ALL WINTER here in southern Ontario. I only missed 5 days of riding and my 401 was bullet proof.
Unique style. Reminds me of an electric powered motorcycle with the design. Thanks for the review. In addition to Suzuki, I see Husqvarna is also adding the rear tire blinkers set up.
Me too! They haven't got one in stock right now, but I'll review the entire Husqvarna on-road lineup on this channel, and continue to update as models change, or as TH-cam comments pour in and an update video is needed. So stay tuned, for sure.
I haven't seen the 24 in person yet, but I expect to see it very soon. I'll be in a better place to share my opinion on it as soon as I see it. When I do see it, I'll get it on video as soon as possible. Great question though, as I'm wondering some of the same things.
Just like you said about the Miata, it’s not a powerhouse. But it’s extremely capable and can hand a lot of more powerful cars it’s arse in the right environment. I’d imagine this bike is like the Miata…likes tight two lane backroads and it’s a momentum bike, not an all out horsepower monster. Made to carry itself through the twists at high speeds because of its agility. 50mph (or 100kmh) is still 50mph regardless if the bike has 20hp or 200hp. Great video and review! Love the design of the bikes, don’t see them around much
A lot of reviewers call it a "scrambler". I guess if you put a high fender on it and fer other changers, but in stock form it really looks more like a futuristic street fighter to me. Either way, very cool and I'd love to have one.
@@PeterLoweOne They actually call it a modern cafe racer, and yes the svart is the scrambler although the only real difference is handebar height, tires, and paint job (and alloys vs spokes in some markets). Oh yeah and the tank rack on the svart.
Tubeless tyress with tubes. The spokes go to the frame of the wheel and need a tube because of it. But the tires can be used without on another bike XD
I'm about 6 feet tall. So I think it would be ok for someone up to your height, but not much taller. You may want to look at this and the competitors to see what this feels like for you, compared to the competition. To be fair, there are a number of smaller bikes in this class.
Do Americans know that other countries use different licences to drive a motorcycle? It's often unlimited power if you are 24 years old and followed lessons, took a theoretical and practical exam. This vitpilen has 35kw that's makes it possible to drive from 20 years old in my country. If you take lessons and theoretical+practical exams
I just bought this bike and love it.
And I have owned sport bikes and cruisers between 800-1600cc.
Love your reviews. Thanks for actually showing so many features of the bikes with nice stable images. Only problem is I keep wanting to buy more motorcycles.
I have the same problem! 🤣
The number of bikes you need is n+1, where n is the number you already have :)
@@travisshrey6720 haha! So true! I just added a plus one today! Video coming soon!!
Your review helped me pick this bike.
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know!

I put 9,600+ miles on my 22 vit and it has yet to have an issue. highly recommend a nice slip on as well.
@@masonmax1000 9600, that's a lot, cheers!
Incredibly thorough review. Only thing missing is a review of the ride itself. Has me rethinking buying it. Thanks!

@@ricksanchez2983I have had a svartpilen for a year and it's the best bike I've ever had. ✌️

Totally agree. Amazingly engineered machine
I always enjoy your reviews! Would love to see a comparison video to the Svartpilen 401. Thank you!

Great review looking awesome
Husqvarna did a brilliant job making 400cc bike look like a mature bike😍
This guy is the only one, who prices the display.
great review as always!
What’s the difference between this and the 24? The 23 is marked down at local dealers, do you think the 24 is just a better option

Great vid…I’m in BC with my 2022 Svartpilen - always get compliments or enquiries from guys of all ages … note: i mean only guys & never gals lol
Thank you! Question: Does the Vitpilen 401 have leg pegs for a tandem passenger?
Yes!
Appreciate the review. Would you be able to compare this and then2024 model? Debating on which to buy myself
I’m hoping to review a 2024 model soon.

The Svartpilen is more of a Scrambler. The Vitpilen is more of a sports street bike.

Where can i buy it in texas ?
Husqvarna Vitpilen vs Yamaha MT-03.
What is more comfortable?
What has a lower seat height?
I am 1.71 cm.
I cant decide between both, please help! :)
Any idea when the 2024s 401 are coming out?
Not sure. When it arrives, I'll get it up here on TH-cam.
@@PeterLoweOne That be great I’m just wondering if they’re gonna get an update like the Duke 390 did?
If you like this you might well love the 2024 KTM 390 Duke. And if you want more upright then the Husky Svartpilen 401 is the one.
Great video!!!
Are those tubeless tyres or not?
Nope

Yup. I have one, its a tubeless tyre. Spokes are sealed on the inside of the rim. @@MB_X
Is it reliable over the years though? Folks have shared some concerns around manufacturing in India and things feeling not as good.
Now this made me second look..I thought it was an electric bike and then saw the exhaust 😮 what sorcery 😂 looks like alot of fun though
Great informative review
Thanks for watching!
Lovely unit...💎

It’s annoying that this has backlit switch gear but my 2023 bmw r1250 Gsa does not!
Little details like that really help this bike out-class a lot of more expensive bikes!

I'm Canadian, and I am aware of other areas having different licensing requirements, but that's not the focus of this video.
🤝welcome 🎉
Too high, manufacturer needs to lower it. Never buying high bike again. Wonder if it can be lowered
High bikes are problematic? Is it less comfortable or less reliable to have a high bike?
Hi
