Thanks for the review. I’m thinking about going there for my birthday. How was the vibe of the resort. Was there music playing at the pool area? Was there nightly entertainment?

Overall the vibe was chill when we were there, but it always depends on the clientele at the time. Chill house music most of the day at the pool, some piano music at night in the lobby bar and lots going on over at the Grand Palladium at night. Thanks for watching 🥂

I haven't stayed at TRS Coral but I was at TRS Yucatan in April 2024 which is about 10-15 min north of Akumal. I found it to be a great value for money. Nice rooms, very good food, premium drinks gorgeous grounds and one of the nicest pools I've ever seen (beach so so as is common in that area). If you are used to staying Secrets, Excellence, Hyatt Zilara type properties TRS is a step down but if you factor in price its at least as good a value or better. If you are used to staying properties like Palladium, Bahia, Catalonia Riu etc its a step up. You could most definitely notice the difference in food/drink quality from the Palladium side of the resort vs TRS.
