Most often I use my GoPro Handler because it floats and simplicity is best at a beach resort. When I’m doing an extended recording session I will use my GoPro Volta powering my Hero12. My extension & tripod option is my PGYTech Mini Tripod grip I modified to work with the Media Mod.
Lovely place, how was the water in the pools, was it warm or very cold, we have been experiencing many resorts with very cold pools, not wanting to go in if its too cold and i love to swim its one of my favourite things to do when travelling, we are retired as well but will now only go to a place where the pools are comfortable not an ice bath. We went to the Majestic in December in Punta Cana and loved it gorgeous place, but the pools were soo cold, i was shivering. lol. Just subscribed. My husband had two knees replaced at the same time 3 years ago. Happy your walking well and it worked for you.
Thank u for the beautiful video. Was the beach clean all days ? Because my whole family wants to go and we are not sure about the green stuff thats sometimes at the beach and it does not allow people to swim. Kiddoz wants to swim a lot! And also is there a lot of wind? Thank you.
Thank you for watching! The sargassum seaweed is driven by the wind and happens anywhere when the wind is from the southeast, which it is much of the time May-October. The sea here is more rough and less ideal for swimming than any RIU in Playacar. For swimming pool fun I recommend Iberostar Paraiso resorts
Thanks for a great and thorough review. Can I ask you how far is this Hotel from the Airport and how far from Downtown or La Isla in Cancun. I recently stayed at the 2 year Old RIU Kukulkan in Cancun and was thinking of trying this property.

I’ve been to over 30 all-inclusive resorts so I have a fair frame of reference on the various food quality levels. Never been to the ultra expensive places though. The buffet quality and choices here are average to slightly above average overall. The a la cartes are average to slightly below average. You won’t go hungry but you won’t be glad you came for the food.

In the winter months pools are colder, in the summer months pools are warmer.

I haven’t visited them all. RIU Palace Pacifico is my favorite so far.
