We've done 6 YC cruises and only one ... the first one ... wasn't excellent. Our butlers were as you say, pretty much nonexistent... however, we didn't really know what to ask for and that we needed to go to the concierge and ask for better service. We've never had an issue with the food and if nothing appeals to us for the dinner menu, we get a pizza or room service delivered to the cabin. We have a 16 day YC cruise coming up in June through the Norwegian fjords and can't wait. We generally only cruise MSC in the YC or Norwegian in the "cheap seats." We are not fans of the Haven ... it's much more expensive and doesn't include nearly as many perks ... they don't change the dinner menu in the Haven restaurant from day to day and the Haven public spaces aren't nearly as good as the YC.
16 days in n the Yacht Club, you’re going to have an amazing cruise! Our next few cruises are Virgin Voyages and Princess. We’re excited to see how they compare. Thanks for watching 🥂
Thank you for the excellent video. We are booked on our first YC experience on the new MSC World America, November 2025 and are really looking forward to it!
Hate hate hate waiting in line, especially on embarkation day with a couple of thousand people jammed in. This alone makes the YC worth it. Plus, I can book a YC interior for about the same price as a Holland America (our preferred line) balcony with the Have it All package. I know....balcony vs interior, but our last balcony cabin I think we spent 30 minutes total out there the entire week. Seems like a no-brainer as long as I can put up with the crowds outside the area.
We agree, it takes all the inconvenience out of cruising! We’ve never tried an interior YC but I’ll be on the lookout for a good deal on one. Thanks for watching🥂
Thanks! That was an interesting take on the Yacht Club experience. I'm so sorry you had problems with your meals! We cruise YC often, and have, fortunately, never had a bad meal like your lobster and hamburger examples. Almost shocking for me to see that! DW is not a cruise fan like I am, but the YC experience has turned her around to becoming a cruise enthusiast once again. For us, it's a bargain and the price is not daunting. It's not a tremendous difference in price compared to a balcony cabin with add-on amenities on other cruise lines, especially with the added value received in Yacht Club. So, for us, it's worth it! Thanks again, I really enjoyed your video and your point of view. Cheers.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I’m glad your experiences have been good. If it weren’t for the inconsistencies we experienced, the Yacht Club would be at the top of our list.🥂
I appreciate your review and assessment. I think I’m a bit like you where I’m a little cruise hesitant, but the yacht club seemed like maybe something I could enjoy. I literally just said to my partner this evening: well, what if we spent the $6000 another way… Could we get the same or better? For a weeks vacation, what I prefer something with consistent food quality, and just being able to be at the beach the entire time - like an all inclusive… Challenge is my partner is no longer intoflying. So the advantage is embarking in Brooklyn - might be my only option now.
I agree! However, if you have the expectation that everything might not be perfect, you could still have an amazing cruise! Thanks for watching, cheers 🥂

Wonderful adult perspective on the MSC offering. Yacht Club seems like having a few Marriott rooms at the Motel 6. The core patron is enticed with bottom basement pricing which, by definition, attracts folks you likely do NOT have as neighbors at home. Those thousand of low fare cruisers are sharing food services, bakeries, cooks, and staff with Yacht Club patrons. That nasty hamburger look like it came from Sam's Club freezer? It probably did, but the thousands of low fare cruisers do not really expect anything better. Thanks from a fellow traveling Floridian!
Huge and gross generalization here. Then again, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how ridiculous it might be.

@@Daniel-kk5lx MSC's business strategy is called "niche marketing" a wildly successful technique pioneered by Sam Walton. Guess we will never see you on Oceania, or HAL so that's a good thing.
You're entitled to your own opinion, again, no matter how ridiculous and/or ignorant it may be. However, you're most certainly not entitled to your own set of facts. I'm familiar with, both, niche marketing and MSC Cruise Line. However, there's no evidence whatever that MSC employs that form of marketing. Perhaps, since you apparently are such an expert on the subject, you can point us in the direction of actual evidence, as opposed to just conjecture and [weak] personal views. Past that, those with Crystal Balls must be good at cleaning up glass. There's no need or point in you trying to presuppose where you'll see me. You won't, and that's a great thing.
Hi. That little electronic chirp every time you switch between shots is incredibly annoying (to me anyway) Watched the whole video but only 'cos it was a short film

We were on the World Europa twice. The World America will be very similar, you’ll love it. Have a great cruise and thanks for watching! 🥂

Yatch club is an experience and not a room type? I can have an interior cabin but Yatch club amenities right?
Yes, that is correct. An inside Yacht Club cabin includes all the Yacht Club’s amenities!
Thank you for sharing. I'll take.....I need a break. I'll go in August 24. 🎉😊
Have a great cruise!! Thanks for watching 🥂

Thanks for the feedback, we’re trying to improve our production👍
I liked it 😂
@@SippingSunset I never noticed it and I tend to be annoyed easily. Just ask my wife. 😃 Keep up the good work.
