I'm still stunned by my experience with the dlc and, honestly, it's works like these that sustain the post-high emptiness I've been feeling ever since :') thank you
I've been able to stave off the post high emptiness by bringing a ton of different builds into the DLC. Like sorcery only, incantation only, RL1, etc. The base game already had so many options for builds, but the dlc added so much that I think I'll never stop coming up with ideas.
Your ending of the vid gave me a more satysfying conclusion to the dlc in a way than the game did. 6:26 This the final cutscene in my head 😂🔥 Keep up that heat bruh, fire work💯
It is soooooo good. Through this video, I just understood the ending of the DLC from a more satisfactory point of view. It just encompassed the path of Miquella and the path of Tarnished, which is going for him. It is not about lore, but about one of the rare things in the game, about something great that is happening not in lore trailers or descriptions, but unfolded before our eyes, like, burning the Erdtree, return of Godfrey, battle with Radagon and Eldenbeast, becoming new Lord. It is one of the crucial moments not written in history but happening there and now. Maybe lorewise there are left some big questions, but now for me it's not so relevant. With time, the community will fill up all empty spaces in the lore to some satisfactory extent And btw 3:24 and 5:49 are really strong moments, especially second sequence is just really emotional, thank you for this mesmerizing piece of art!
Can you do a tribute to Shadow of the Erdtree which blends seamlessly into your original ‘it’s just a game elden ring’ video, so it flows as one video with that gorgeous piano music and amazing dialogue samples you’ve used.
This is stunning! The moment it picks up towards the end, the choir going higher and faster at 5:55 it's just amazing! It really highlights what Miquella is saying, showing us all the people suffering because of the old order. The people we want to help some way or another. Also what OST kicks in at 5:55? Cheers!
Great montage. Only thing missing is my man Ansbach's line which I think it's the best from the DLC: Righteous Tarnished. Become our new lord. A lord not for gods, but for men.
Absolutely underwhelming. Honestly the DLC felt random and all over the place. In my opinion it felt like they just lumped a bunch of assets together, bosses with zero personality and no real connection to the base game sort of like unfinished concepts and ideas they had in development, put in some bright and colorful lights ( the map ) and took advantage of the hype Elden Ring has to slap 40 bucks on it. When the honeymoon phase officially ends, we'll see more and more rating this a 6 out of 10, maybe a couple 7's at most.
I agree. Dlc felt empty and boring. A bunch of lore highlights like frenzy, godwyn, or st Trina get featured in it for like short moment then it just ends. 2 years... guess we'll never know about Melinas eye.
