Such a funny way to try on a bra…but…discretion… 😂🤣 I found the bra to be too big in the cups when tried on the old fashioned way…. So I ordered a smaller cup. Awaiting its arrival and we’ll talk more when it gets here. I haven’t found the perfect use for the hairpins yet. My next plan is to try with not fresh hair and some grit from a dry shampoo. I’ll report back, I love the look they give I just need to work out how to make them stay in my hair!

Have you ever tried Soma bras? I started wearing them a couple of years ago and have been hooked. If you live by one of their stores try to go in. They have excellent customer service. If not just try them online anyway.
I have. I find the cups to be set wide for me…I guess I’m close set…lol
I second Soma! Love their bras. Kathrin, try the Embraceable perfect coverage underwire. It's spaced like what you're describing and so comfortable.
For a long time, I've had some clips that are almost identical to the No 1 (but aren't). They could be one of their first versions for all I remember. I have short, but thick, straight hair, and I can't get them to stay in, either. Just like you, I was really hoping they'd work! You have saved me some money from buying the upgraded version... Thanks for your individual review of it. There are not many out there.

I’ve ordered the size smaller and should have it in a couple days. I’m hopeful!
i also have fine hair, and i love a good claw too, i got some great ones for Christmas from marshals that were from the brand cupcakes and cashmere. i really like aerie bras, but i also only wear bralettes or sport bras as i find them more comfortable. i also have a few friends that really like aerie bras as well.

I used to use VS as well and tried Third Love and EBY. I love the Third Love as it's soooo comfortable. I have found different styles fit very different though (so maybe you would be a true B in other styles). Also I was like you and didn't want their sports bras but one was on a fantastic sale and I love it! And it's perfect under t-shirts. I shopped a couple of their sales so you really don't have to spend as much as you did for all.
I have been getting the sports bra in my Insta feed and every time I see it I get a little closer to buying it…lol. My replacement arrives tomorrow so fingers crossed!
Wishing you luck finding the perfect bra! I have trouble finding a good fit as well (3rd love doesn’t even have options in my band/cup combo). Not only do you need the right band and cup size you have to hope your shape matches the shape the bra best supports!? The problem is real

You’re bra attire was the perfect palette cleanser for me after just streaming the entire Squid Game season 1! 😂 so cute! Personally I waved the white flag of surrender on bra wearing years ago and went with tanks under shirts and sweaters. My skin could never find a comfortable bra after decades of looking. I gave up 🏳️

I love my 3rd loves. But, they told me to go up a band size and down a cup size from what I’d been wearing in Victoria Secret as well. I was not happy with the fit. It wasn’t terrible, but I like the cups a little fuller than they do I guess? But after a minor email argument about “we strongly recommend” they swapped them out, and now love them.
I did exactly that and now I’ve gone down another cup size 🫤. I’ve always been a C and now apparently I’m an A…. Frankly, I don’t care what they call it if I can make it fit and it’s comfy!
My hair is exactly like yours. Have you tried the Fekkai root lift from FFF yet? That stuff worked pretty good. I would try the clips with the Fekkai maybe it will work better.
I just got it in my second FFF box that i unboxed yesterday so I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I hope it works for me too!
I've been happy with my ThirdLove bras (and PJs).
I was social media ad influenced into trying Waterdrops and LOVE it! They flavor your water with fruit extracts and stevia. I have a hard time drinking enough water so it is a great product for me. 😍
I have thought of trying Waterdrops because of socials. Good to know when they get me…they’re good…lol
I tried 4 different, third love bras, and none of them worked for me and yes, part of the size of the cups.
Oh my. Well, I’ve exchanged this one for a smaller size but if it doesn’t work, I’m out…lol. Fingers crossed because the fabric and band size were fabulous!
Hello! I know it's not an Insta thing but I only have bras from Torrid's curve line. They have a lot of different styles- I don't know if you've tried any of theirs in the past, but a lot of them have the "back smoothing" which uh. I appreciate. lol :D

I have a lot of thick hair and I’ve tried hair pins and they don’t work on me either. Guess it’s a Goldie locks thing and you hair has to be just right!

Tried those bras-three sizes-didn’t work for me. For the hair pin, instead of pushing it up from the bottom, try pushing from the top and flipping it for the final push up.

You can always wear a thin top with no bra underneath and the bra on top….. but this was fun too!

Finding a bra that fits, especially when you are getting older and getting into the age where peri/full menopause starts to play havoc with your hormones, is a PITA. 😅I'm in my mid-50s and I've tried more than a few types over the last couple years- for now I like the bras from Lane Bryant. Just like with Women's Jeans, I sincerely feel like bra/cup sizes really need to be standardized- they can vary so much between brands it is incredibly hard to find one that fits right and bras are so expensive that buying one that doesn't fit right is a real problem.
Such a pain!! That’s where I am…mid 50s and it’s a nightmare. I haven’t had luck with Lane Bryant, not enough full bussom up high. I have now reordered this bra in an A. That’s absurd to me. I’ve always been a C and will yield that maybe with age and loss of “lift” it reads more B. But A?? What do flatter chested women do?
