Thank you, I appreciate that. This is the first video in a series called melody basics, watch the playlist on my channel called melody basics if you want more fundamental videos like this.
Bro thank you this is how I need to be taught, these other tubers don't know how to teach they just be telling us what there doing lol we are watching these videos bc we dont know wtf were doing. You are the Goat for actually teaching bro. THANKS A BILLION! Subscribed Forever!
Damn I've been watching melody tutorial for over a year now but this series right here is top of the list for me. You're good at explaining for better comprehension. you just solved my biggest melody impediment. Thank you and i genuinely appreciate the effort you put into making people like me better !!!!
You connected some dots I've been so frustrated with for years. Actually teaching how everything should be connected with room for creativity and explaining why everything works and how we can use it. Thank you.
It becomes background noise after a while, you don’t even notice it 😂😂 really appreciate the video tho man, really helpful and insightful👍🏽 video production is amazing aswell, deserve way more than what you have rn, keep at it 😁
youre just great man at teaching these things man... i have watched a lot o youtube vids about these things yoo.. buttt thee way youre dropping them.... man... am loving this God bless you.. will keep on supporting your channel..
Man i love your tutorials they literally the best i ever found on youtube and they are soo helpfull! Even as someone that already knows most of music theory i need all those videos to get an overview how all this stuff works! Thanks a lot
I had piano classes and I played saxophone, both in school. I knew about chords but I learned about chord progressions much much later than that and realized they were the building blocks of most harmony. It's really a game changer for producers who aren't aware. But Thanks for watching
Congrats MelloDee!!!! Seen lots of videos and your among easiest to follow, Congrats, again!!!! It would be great help, if you have a tutorial video on Melody making when you have the Lyrics, only. I am sure that you can cook one up with the knowedge arsenal you already have, if you havent already!!!! Thanks
Is there anyway you can explain the melody more? This is by far the best tutorial I have come across and was hoping you went deeper. I see producers making melodys without making chords. So essentially a melody is basically a chord mostly with passing notes? Do you have any videos that would help me out with this or could you make something helping me. This is where I have been stuck for such a long time.
Go to my channel, scroll to the bottom. You'll see the melody basics playlist. It's got like 5 parts and this is apart of it. I go in depth on every aspect of melodies that are necessary. There are videos in there about what you asked, I may have a couple on how to turn chords into melodies but when I get back to doing tutorials, I'm gonna be breaking it down heavy. Most of the melodies won't be sustaining chords.
@@MelloDeeBeats cool cool I'll check it out. Thanks dude. I should probably practice songs a little bit like learning some to understsnd melody a bit more. Most of it has been tinkering around and watching videos.
Appreciate you bro. If you like this, this was the first video in a series of melody tutorials, check it out if you haven’t th-cam.com/play/PLzMRet0azBT13rKAyifQkQcLu8ZpXNxnr.html

question....you see how your notes are? i have fl studio also and my notes have lines inside of them how do i make them go away so there will be just a note..
It’s universal, it translates regardless of what you use. A triad is 3 notes on a piano, on a synth board, in FL, in Ableton, in sheet music, on a guitar, etc. The top note of a chord is the top note of a chord, regardless what you use to play it. But based on the last MPC comment, I kinda get what you mean so these are my recommendations. 1. If you don’t use a midi keyboard, consider getting one but learn how to identify which notes are which on an MPC if you’re playing a multi pitch one shot instrument 2. Start with learning scales. If you go to my music theory playlist on my channel, it’s the first vid and I made it before I made scale helpers. I break down the scale formulas. Memorize them by playing them. Once you have those 2 things handled a little bit, then this will be applicable in whatever program or equipment you use to make music
One thing I forgot to mention, don't be afraid to hit the same note multiple times in a row in your melody.
Best teacher,keep it up bro.
