For the magic the goal is just to carry on developing Paolo Franz and Anthony Black and maybe make the play in? Also Markelle Fultz for MIP and Franz will be all-star level
The Magic are a play in minimum team if the team doesn’t start with 7 players injured like last year. Near the end of the year they were the last team to be out right eliminated from play in contention despite the 13th place. This is definitely a prove it year for Markelle Fultz if they don’t extend him so early.
As a Magic Fan I know the team is def locked in how far they get im not sure but they def have the potential we have been utterly disrespected and we shitted on good teams for it. This team imo has more potential then OKC. Paolo and onlyFranz are something special, the whole team is stacked with talent, a Family like chemistry and a desire and hunger to win and be respected. The only thing i believe can hold this team back from at least a playoff berth is injury
As a Lakers fan, they definitely do need to lock in this season as this is just too good a roster to not try to win with, Personally, the only team I fear in the west are the Warriors as all their players said the same thing in the off season and Klay is doing a "I'll prove you wrong" type thing. I guess if Chris Paul chokes again, I won't take them as seriously, but they're the only team I can see myself losing sleep over. But I don't fear the Suns at all, their bench and depth looks mid at best and weak trash at worst.
