how has it been? I'm worried the s23 is just too big especially too wide, I sometimes do things like getting my phone out while cycling to look at the map etc. does it seem way bigger in the hand? love my s10e, unfortunately battery is awful and the new battery I put in it is somehow even worse..
I've upgraded from s10e to s23 and the difference is huge. The s10e was a beast. But now with the s23 the battery is finally ok, the phone is really smooth and that was a big jump.
But the price difference is huge, s10e (snapdragon) is the best choice, battery is ok unless if you are a kid playing games all the day !! do not buy those expensive shit phones for no reason !!
I've been using s10e for about 4 years now. So compact, so light, so smooth! I've optimised it using the Package Disabler Pro and blocking tons of bloatware. I don't play games. I can't see a more considerable difference between the two phones regarding browsing or opening apps. The only noticeable difference is the 120Hz screen and cameras. After all of these years, the battery still lasts the whole day. However, the lack of updates will force me to buy s23 sooner or later. IMHO, the s10e, apart from the s5, is one of the best Samsung products. I'll always miss my 10e😍
Stop saying the features on the s10e is "insane." Headphone jack and expandable storage were STANDARD until they decided they could squeeze more money out of us by taking those away.
Shame shame you getting less for your money now? I have the S10e this is what you use to get? 1) Headphones jack 2) SD Slot 3) Film screen protector 4) Charger Plug 5) Much better price compare to S23
S10e user here (had it since release) moving to S23 when it arrives tomorrow. Unfortunately the camera has started to have lots of visual 'noise' and has degraded for some reason. Battery not lasting a full day anymore and some apps taking a while to open. Also this phone has started to get hot as hell. Looking forward to long awaited update and decent camera. Phone served me well. Only offered £40 for it at trade in after a visual only inspection, despite no scratches or damage due to a decent phone case. Keeping it as a back up. Served me well, was a good phone for a fair few years...
Even after 4 years, the S10e looks better. Headphone jack and microSD slot are just icing. I would get the S10e if my Pixel 3 stops working. That's the size I prefer with rounded sides.
S10e was honestly a homerun phone. I wish I bought it when it came out but I wasn't willing to shell out yet. But I probably would've been happy with the S10e up to today. I got the Xperia 5 II which has very similar features to the S10e albeit taller last year. Also great.
Planning to get S10e probably for collection purposed..currently using LG v50s also powered by same SoC as S10e..but since it was my ideal size(6.4 inch)so using S10e might be inconvenient to me..but still love how it looks..love small and compact phone but sadly my finger doesn't agree with me😅
I wanna buy a new phone bc I've had this s10e for 4 years. But these companies don't get it. I want a SD slot... the specs between the s10e and s23 aren't that big of a difference really. Yea, u get a better zoom on the s23 but how often r u gonna use that? And the s23 is a bit more crisp and a little more snappy. Only slight problem I have with my phone is that the charging slot doesn't grab as well as it use to. Also the updates r done 🙄 but like another mentioned, 8gb Ram is on both phones... so I think I'll wait until the s24 (hopefully it has a SD slot). Thanks for the review btw
That Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 absolutely destroys the SD 855 Chipset. I own a s10e and I get rare occasional stutters while gaming or heavy tasks. I also can't emulate PS2 at 1080p without the framerate becoming an absolute mess. Oh and the abysmally short battery life that the 855 chipset does nothing to help for.
2:35- That camera fragility is why I'm upgrading. I love my S10e, got it as an early high school graduation gift from my parents. It has served me wonderfully, but I bumped it on a machine at work last week and shattered the back camera. I use the back camera for work rather often, so unfortunately it means I need a new one. I'm sad to let the S10e go but I'm excited to not have to charge my phone on my way home from work. Gotta figure out how I'm gonna connect my phone to my sound system though lol

I bought my S10E when it first come out, it's been a great phone. But with no more updates it's time for a new phone, so This morning I ordered a S23 ultra from Samsung with a set of ear buds.
If they only can continue supporting the s10e with software updates 😢 I mean the SD855 can still manage intensive stuff, That's the only problem you may face preventing you from keeping the phone apart from the battery maybe, but after all this is the only way they can sell you new phones
S10e still better. I'm buying a second one to keep incase my daily driver gets ruined. Who knows when the refurbished ones will eventually run out but I'm going to make sure I have a couple of these phones when that happens.
Wild performance comparison. You didn't bother to update the apps or log in to give them an equal starting point, resulting in them being very equal or the S10e even winning in Temple Run. And yet you say the "S10e still competes kinda well", giving the S23 the win. Bruh.
Please voice your opinion on why they don’t add sensors to the motherboards of smartphones to measure heart rate, oxygen saturation of red blood cells, measure pressure, well, in general, everything that is on a smart watch? Especially before Samsung had these functions, but they were removed.
My regular S10 competes well with my S23. In fact, I kind of wish I some ways that the S23 had the curved edge that the S10 has. They decided to remove the camera bump because if you damage it by dropping, the next thing you will do is have it repaired or buy a new one, a profit for samsung. That is why Im still holding on to my s10e. Deciding to upgrade is really hard.
