- In this video I talk about how to do a complete front and rear brake job on a 94-99 Cadillac Deville, 92-02 Cadillac Eldorado, and 92-97 Cadillac Seville SLS and STS models.
Took about an hour from start to finish.
Tools needed for this project....
Time
Patience
4 way lug wrench
3/8 inch rachet
18mm socket
14mm socket
12mm socket
1 Flathead screwdriver 🪛
3/8 inch hex socket
10mm socket
1 bottle of DOT 3 Brake Fluid
15mm socket
Hey bro, I just wanted to say great video! I found, however that even though there are some measurements as metric for the Cadillac, the 14 mm was actually not the best choice. I found the 9/16 was what actually got that back bolt loose! Let’s keep posting them videos.🎉
this was spectacularly helpful
Rotors for $22? What’s the link to that? I have a 95 Deville I’m changing rotors on
Great video. I have a ‘94 Deville as well and just wanted to know after doing this job, should I do an alignment afterwards? Thank you
What's going on Texasboi... Thank you for the feedback. On my vehicles I get a wheel alignment every year because the roads are pretty rough. When the last time you had an alignment done?
Actually last week because I replaced the struts and sway bar links. So I was just wondering after watching your video on replacing calipers brakes and rotors. If I were to change them on my car as well. Should I do another alignment when finished?
@@texasboi2106 You wouldn't have to have another wheel alignment done from having the brakes done on your car bro
Ok, thank you just making sure. I know nothing about cars.
@@texasboi2106 You have the 4.9 or the Northstar engine in your 94?
Nice ride homie beautiful color love the wheels and rims, I have a 94 DeVille also and having problems with my brake system and live here in Dallas to wanted to know if you had a shop?
Good Morning, I have a small shop in Ennis, TX. I-45 and TX 34
Passenger side brake hose in the front looks pretty tight no slack at all?
Hey Bill, good morning to you. It has a little slack to not cause a fluid restriction within the brake hose
Do you have a video on thermostat replacement my 98 running hot when I drive long distance
Hey Marcus, unfortunately I don't have a video of the thermostat replacement. Your 98 has the 4.6 Northstar engine. This 4.9 is very different from what you have
