a femme fatale would never stop developing and changing herself for the better. it’s like the woman you see today isn’t the woman you’ll see tomorrow. she’s all about knowledge
This question is for the *genuinely* confident women out there: How do you deal with the insecure people who try to shut you out socially because they feel threatened by you? I ask this because even though I'm a rather confident woman, this gets to me. I'm *not* an extrovert, so I run out of energy when in social situations for an extended amount of time. But whenever I come into a space with an insecure "Queen Bee" I find that my social battery gets drained even more quickly. These are usually people (mostly women) who parade as confident when in fact they're very insecure and easily threatened. They enjoy making confident (female) outsiders feel not welcome in social spaces. My personal experience with this has been that they pretend I'm not present (and avoid my gaze), come into conversations I'm having and try to monopolize the conversation, or even in some circumstances they've literally touched me (my earrings or hair) without having acknowledged me first. I'm assertive, but I'm not obnoxious or willing to play childish games, and I don't like being the center of attention so I always find these encounters particularly challenging because I'm not there to compete. But I also don't like having to walk away from an enjoyable time just because these people can't get over themselves.
I too have experienced this. Confident, high caliber women are allies, we lift each other up and support each other. However there’s always going to be someone who’s insecure trying to bring us down, and it’s just the worst feeling (especially when they are your coworkers!) My advice, when dealing with an insecure woman (or man) is to be sweet to them and treat them with respect and kindness anyway. Don’t start a fight or drama at a party for instance. Sometimes they need to be confronted in private though. I just try to get through the day or night being cordial with them, but we won’t be friends.
@@extrastout1741 The issue is that I'm seen as threatening because I am confident. It makes falsely confident people insecure being in a space with me. Genuinely self-assured women find no issue with me. Either way, it's a frustrating conundrum because these false confident people can cause real problems.
@@neontropic4992 Personally, I aim to avoid individuals who are made insecure by my confidence. But this makes life rather difficult at times. If I am forced to socialize with these sorts of insecure individuals, I am cordial of course. But from experience there's really no winning them over. If you try to humanize yourself in their eyes, at least in my case, they will use that as a form of ammunition and gossip about how flawed you are (this becomes hot gossip for them). While this can seem innocent, it can lead to real problems if it gets out of hand. Trying to discuss the issue with them privately, depending on the person you're dealing with, can also blow up in your face. You could be accused of bullying. Or it can end up with exaggerations of what took place and lead to "can you believe she did THIS to me?", "she yelled at me!", etc. I speak with experience with all of the above examples. I know my value, but many others don't and that's a problem. And ignoring these insecure people doesn't work when you're constantly exposed to them.
Never looking bad is actually a good rule to live by. Also I so agree with celebrating other women- encouraging and supporting other women is a very attractive thing. The green eyed monster is not a good look.
I love all your videos, this one especially so. Something I think a femme fatale would never do is whine/complain or feel sorry for herself. She would never be a push-over (people pleaser, as you said - I love that!) or put herself in a completely vulnerable position, if at all possible. She will always cherish herself and her natural beauty, enhancing it every chance she had. She would never over-react or lose her composure. I love this topic! xoxo
I think the term "femme fatale" is being used inapprorpriately here. The wiki definition of a femme fatale is a woman with the traits as Lisa describes. But one who uses those traits to draw men into a trap or otherwise bad situation to take advantage of them. What Lisa is advocating is being simply a strong confident women who has good taste and is glamorous.
@@Lisaglamour In any case, your idea that the positive aspect of the femme fatale being an idea standard that women should strive for is a good one to promote.
The wiki definition is not enough. Many woman feel insecure and threatened by Men's presence. Their judgements , gaze , their assertiveness. If a man shames a woman, she'd rather be shameless and trap the the Same men for being a douche. It's like, " you want me to cover up? Act like a proper lady? Let's see who's weaker ! You can't even resist me ! 😏💅" So the trope is used for the worthlessness so-called Men, who'd show assertiveness on their women but can't even resist their own desires. Femme Fatales show assertiveness through beauty, confidence and seduction.
I think she made a video on her definition of femme fatale already but she confirmed that she has a completely different idea than to what Google has.(I had the same doubts as you) and she even went as far as categorizing and breaking it down in to like the darker and lighter side of it.

femme fatales are beautiful and everyone should have the energy of femme fatale but with their own style, way, and personality. i wanna be my own kind of femme fatale.
Une femme fatale dont on ne parle pas assez je trouve, c'est Brigitte Bardot dans "la femme et le pantin" en 1959. Elle incarne tellement bien ce rôle... je recommande !!
finally...... I found someone like me....... 😭 I have always been told I am an attention seeker , i over dress , I don't dress good and being sl*t shamed no this is my personality trait , this is just how I am , I dress how ever tf I want
Remember people talking shit about only means they are projecting their own insecurities! I always get comments like "you think you are model" I always take it as a compliment! They're only jealous coz they can't be you
Same. I want to learn to own my "femme fatale" energy instead of feeling bad for it. I get paranoid thinking people will think I'm a slut or a homewrecker, or a man-hater (which isn't entirely untrue lol) but that's just how I am and how I like to dress if I'm allowed to be confident.
I recently was VERY busy with my graduation project and have been in my masculine energy for WEEKS. Finally, today i broke the cycle by watching a Lisa video, which put me directly in my feminine. THANK YOU LISA 🤍🤍 The femme fatale is one of my absolute favorite topics on your channel because I just love her so much and feel like i have a lot of her energy.
I LOVE THIS VIDEO! thank you for explaining this femininity concepts. i came by them before, but this is the first time i get a more detailed meanings for each.
I just want to thankyou bcs Ive never watched old hollywood movies I just watched why gentelmen prefer blonds and Just wow I adored love how femimine the actress were thanyou alot know I can start learn more
I have a question. How do you deal with aggressive and impudent man you don't like? Many man start hitting on me. The most impudent are the most inappropriate. The better I look the more unwanted attention I receive (aggressive behaviour, demanding smth like you gonna be mine an that's all, stalking) So I stopped being appealing try to get dressed very unappealing. Coz dealing with so much attention and especially negative one is very tiring. How do you cope?
The way I do it: I wear worn out shirts and pants and put hair in a bun + no make up if I have to go to bad places with low class people, like Walmart etc. This makes me invisible to males and they don’t bother me. I dress normally when I go to good places. Not an ideal solution but I haven’t found a better one.

femme fatales are beautiful and everyone should have the energy of femme fatale but with their own style, way, and personality. i wanna be my own kind of femme fatale.
Love it! 😍
Une femme fatale dont on ne parle pas assez je trouve, c'est Brigitte Bardot dans "la femme et le pantin" en 1959. Elle incarne tellement bien ce rôle... je recommande !!
Love your videos I really needed this. Im in the process to gaining the knowledge I need to become that woman. Love this!
finally...... I found someone like me....... 😭
I have always been told I am an attention seeker , i over dress , I don't dress good and being sl*t shamed
no this is my personality trait , this is just how I am , I dress how ever tf I want
Thankyou for this lovely and honest review. Thankyou for being you. Lovely on the inside as well as out. 🥰💝💞❤

I love this so much! Thank you for this!
A femme fatale don't compare herself with others. She learn and get inspired by others. But, she do not feed anymore the comparison.
I just love this!! So inspiriering!! ❤️⚘️
