Very helpful video, however... When you use the torque wrench and the nut does not rotate any, then you have overtorqued the fastener with the impact wrench. The only fasteners that were not overtorqued in this video were the lug nuts. The 17 ft-lb sway bar bushings fastener was probably really over-done.
This was a better go around than his fight with that Silverado lol that was painful to watch. He had his tools with him this time. Nice job Andy thanks for the torque specs
This is so easy compared to mine. Mine the bolt washe combo on the bottom strut are bolt down. So cv joint is in the way making this a not so quick easy job.

Well I don't have a special spring holder so I'm not doing that.

Why replace the intact sway bar link? But keep the rusty shock?
Very impressive... almost in real -time.
I obviously need a torch wrench and a fancy impact drill.
could you use a old serpentine belt around you vise grips?

lol, 75 ugah-duggas or 17 ft#s ....
Who the heck has spring compression set up in their diy garage? Do a video without special one of a kind tools
If you take the whole thing off, replace the whole thing.
thats a strut, not a shock
Wasn’t really helpful, is their a before video of you taking the control arm off or disconnecting bolts from bottom of assembly ?
