    I'll preface my comments with the fact that I do not work for Ridge and am not an endorser or paid by them or anything like that. I am a happy customer who has the elastic option and recently went through this process to replace the elastic. First I'll say that the new parts came without any instructions. Their web site similarly has no instructions, even in the "Support" section. Why they don't have a link to this video in their support section is beyond me. Yes this video has lame music and they should speed up the sections showing removal and replacement of all 14 screws. That said, this video accomplishes the goal of showing you how to do the job, and I was able to replace my elastic without trouble after watching this. To answer some of the questions in the comments, I don't know what the warranty period is, but I've had mine for several years so I paid for a new elastic and new screws. I only needed 1 screw but they'll only sell you a set of 14. My elastic did not break or fail, but it got pretty ratty looking and had "pills" (like an old sweater) and I wanted a fresh one. The screws come with loctite pre-applied. Even so, mine still periodically loosen, and that's how I lost one. Every couple months now I pull out the supplied screwdriver and tighten them. Usually most of them will still be tight, but maybe one will be a little loose. You can replace the elastic with a money clip if you want, although you have to buy the part. And oddly enough they DO have a little article and a video on their web site for how to do that. I am very happy with my wallet overall. I hope this helps.

    I don't understand how to put it back together. I just bought the replacment strap and the piece that i took off had the elastic cash strap sown together with the card strap. the item they sent me was 2 different pieces. How in the world do you install the new one since its 2 different pieces now? Its also frustrating that theres no phone number for me to call to get this figured out.

      I just got my "replacement elastic - cash strap" today and same thing. 2 pieces, but the elastic I removed from my wallet has the 2 pieces sewn together. I hope they don't expect us to sew them together. What the heck???

    • @ImaginaryEvil

      Yes you wallet you buy from the company has replacements they just sent me the elastic and a money clip add on because mine was pilled and tattered from my pockets and just general usage but this has been over a year now so the elastic lasts a long time . But they sent the money clip also , really cool of them just send them an email.

    I find this video to be misleading. I bought two wallets in December, 2022 and the screws definitely do not come out easily. I was able to remove three myself and my husband was eventually able to remove the rest so the money clip could be installed. Please consider slowing down the parts of the video that are critical to the process of installing the money clip and speed up the screw removal process. A few times the critical parts of the process were not totally in frame.

    What about the metal logo part

    • @SlimeYee
      @SlimeYee 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      don't know if you solved this yet, but the old plate isn't a solid metal piece under the elastic. There's a break in the metal where you can slip it off the old one and onto the new one.
