I think that they should just focus on phase 1 clone troopers (it seems like there not going to fix the current mold) to prepare for the 20th anniversary of Attack of the clones. I really hope we see other phase 1 clones like 212th battalion, Cody, Rex, Gree, Jesse, Hardcase, Kix, Daniel, Etc.
100% agreed with this list, an absolute banger that Cody Carback is. Excited for the Worst to First 2021 figures!

I absolutely LOVE Clone Troopers! Sadly I was not collecting Star Wars when Cody, Gree and others made the Vintage Collection. They all have got quite expensive now. I did however go back and buy the originals that came out in 2003-2006. I absolutely love those. I know they are inferior to Vintage Collection ones but still they have a lot of nostalgia for me.😁

I remember picking up Cody back in the day at my local Target. Got the VC Snowspeeder and some other figures as well. That was a good after school weekend
The vintage collection captain Rex was sold at a hundred dollars!

Great video. I don't mind Odd Ball's limited articulation, since in general, I like simple articulations on pilot figures; makes them easier to seat on cockpits.

Nice roundup. My top 5 (if ever released) would be Commander Bacara, Galactic Marine (ROTS) and Commanders Colt, Blitz and Havoc (Clone Wars).
Hey tim you got that list straight on mate. I love codys little head just so the proportion of the helmt lookes to scale with the body. Im still old school the super articulated clone from ep3 is the best in my opinion. Granted it may need a hip and foot upgrade. But other than that it is the best looking. I dont like the new body fat feet and to skinny 😂. As always cheers mate and looking forward to the next video. You have wonderful day!!!

Great job! I would have to spend time going through mine to get a proper rank but I don’t have nearly as many as you as I wasn’t collecting during the TVC Phase 1.0 era, so I’m missing a bunch of them. And what a shame as most are vastly overpriced on the black market. For the ones I do have from TVC 2.0 I would have to put Echo and Fives at the top, followed by the standard Clone Trooper re-release (TVC 45 I believe it was). Hopefully over time we’ll see more re-releases and I’ll catch up. So looking forward to those Tartakovsky Clones coming up, as long as Walmart doesn’t cancel all my preorders like they did with the recent wave of Black Series figures a month ago….🤦🏻♂️. 212th and normal phase 2 trooper is the best clone mold imo. They are thicc and well rounded and they look more natural to me
I may be wrong but I believe you missed one and it's also being re-released next year due to winning the fan vote and that's that clone trooper with the orange and black markings on his armor, also now that you've done 5his are you planning on redoing your list after the Bad Batch set comes out?

Does the old H2O2 and UV light trick work on the helmet discoloration for your 212th trooper? That would allow you to display it accurately.

I’m a little late due to work but great video. Can you do a similar video on clone figures that should be in the line for example the galactic marine, clone pilot like oddball but imperial black color, phase 1 clone pilot that was in the gunship/ black series 3.75. Etc there’s plenty to choose from ;)
I hope Hasbro offers a figure 4-pack of the regular Phase 1 Clone Trooper next year for the AOTC 20th anniversary. I see the carded version selling for $40-$50 per figure now.

3:35 technically he’s a new figure, just a slightly improved paint scheme as hasbro kept messing up the 41st in the back series, I have the first black series 41st which is just a phase 2 clone with grey stripes, that’s it.
There are no worsts! Just 10th favorite :)
For the attack of the clones anniversary do u think they’d do a clone trooper 4 pack with a sgt, lieutenant, captain and commander?

Really enjoyed this one! Largely agree. Of course Cody has to take #1. A good figure (really needs a new head though), but man, like you said that card back is just 👌🏻. The face of Order 66 and the most famous Clone Commander of them all. Definitely agree that Wolffe and Rex deserve to be at the very bottom of the list. Absolutely concur that mold IS “God awful” and I hope it’s been permanently retired, because I for one never want to see it used again. We NEED the Phase I Sergeant, Captain, and Commander in TVC using that VC45 body!! Next year would have been the ideal time to do it... I also found it interesting that you decided to omit the “Lost Line” look for the Shock Trooper and Lieutenant. Both fantastic cards for their classic Kenner look, though. - Tyler
Cheers Tyler, even though they technically are, I haver counted the Lost line as part of TVC. Only have Jar Jar in Carbonite left. Sold the others lol

Hasbro really dropped the ball not including the correct accessories for the 2 arc troopers especially Commander Fordo's iconic guns!! Great list, we definitely need a new sculpt. How they didn't do one for Rex who is an important and popular charector is weird. With Bad Batch now would have been the time for Rex to get that new sculpt and also new sculpt Bad Batch clones. When I seen Commander Gree I thought now that's a helmet in proportion to his body, such an awesome figure and cardback. Those clones on the bottom of the list with the massive helmets ruin the ascetic.
2 figures I would love to see are the one you have Tim from the comic pack with the army camo paint, sorry forgot his name!! And Commander Bly definitely a really cool looking Clone that deserves to be in TVC!!
Ive never seen #3 before. He's great ....and I just looked very expensive.
I am happy that Cmr Cody made first on the list but the newer VTC cards look kind of massive.
I personally would’ve switched Black Series repack Rex and Wolffe around. At least they gave Wolffe a new head sculpt and removable helmet for his release, unlike Rex who got the same bad figure he did before.
Also, not only are you right about Cody’s antenna snapping off if it was any thinner, I’ve had mine since I was quite young and it did snap off even with its current thickness.
I think Captain Rex is the worst Vintage Collection figure over Commander Wolfe just for the reason Wolfe has the removable head and you can slightly pose better than Rex. Rex is just a mess of outdated problems (no removable helmet, has the same issues as Wolf with you can barely fit the blasters on his hands). Fully agree with the rest of the list. It amazes me how Cody still is one of my favorites too.
For me for phase 2 clone all those use the new body are my favours such as fives echo Jessie , I was very disappointed with Rex and 501st which are all skinny body with phase 2 large helmet , they should upgrade those

Have you heard anything about getting those 501st Stormtroopers re-released in the vintage collection? I almost pulled the trigger on several loose ones that Tunghori had recently listed on his website but I held off because I heard a rumor about Hasbro doing a re-release.

My only issue with the 5's figure is that the card back isn't from TCW. It's some sort of CG image. Really annoying to me that they didn't use an image from the show.
I think it’s so they wouldn’t break the uniformity of the live action cards but in hindsight it’s kinda dumb considering that the 2D clone wars has cards with imagery from the show.
the new TVC Arc troopers were great. But not a fan of their height, really. They look weird positioning them with VC42’s mold clones. I hope they redo them with proper height
I actually dislike the current mold so much, I switched to original trilogy figures. You can't beat the rogue one stormtrooper mold. Here's to getting a 501st stormtrooper

Really solid list!!! (Although I would have made Rex last. He looks soooo awful, especially when he is loose next to other clones from this line . . . and his articulation is terrible.) Having Cody at 1 was a no-brainer - best Clone in the line by far.
How come you didn't include the fallen order clone from gaming greats?
The Purge Trooper? Hmmm as far as I know not all Purge Troopers were Clones. The Black and Red ones are, juts not sure about the ones in Jedi Fallen Order. He could be though!

Uh, thats a tough one! As we are nostalgic towards some figures, like Cody for example, we will put them in the higher rank, they are no more, very expensive, and in high demand… At the end of the day, if we speak about the overall best vc clones, no doubt, new 501st Arc troopers are, by far, the best and most detailed figures of clones ever…It is only natural, they represent a new era of the vintage collection… i thing that they are out of league…
