Loved the common sense in number 2. In other industries,we manufactured out product here in Chicago so I clung to backing our product with my soul.
Amazons abit of a different walking path. I learned and recouped here on your video about Alibaba especially noticed the sites somewhat foreign. Do experiences differ bigtime between manufacturers?
Alibab.com is now a trillion dollar company so I do trust it more now than before.
Also, testing the product before selling altogether seems wise enough and reflects Integrity on the forefront.
Idle-Hands are the devils playground. Using time wisely is old money-new money.

Tip for FBA sellers in the UK and Europe - when importing products from China, railway shipping is actually an extremely cost-effective (and more environmentally friendly) way to ship your products to Amazon. It's quicker than sea (as China is connected to Europe by land) and much cheaper than air (about 1/3 to 1/2 the price).

Once the supplier finds out they could sell directly on amazon this middleman sitting at home online business would disappeared unless you are the only authorized dealer in selling that product ..I guess tgats where the private labeling comes in

Great list! Me personally after doing all the research and choosing a product, before step 4., I calculated the budget (marketing costs, product sourcing, giveaways, amazon fees etc) and set up a new bank account and put certain amount of money in it so that my personal money and business money are separated now

Tatiana this was a very detailed and helpful first step video. I wonder how we can decide / research on what type of products to sell..and what to look for ....how to draft a proposal to a supplier when 1- you're nobody, have no business yet and he's already selling to established competition..all of this comes to mind . Thank you for your time / putting those educating videos .

AWESOME VID! i saw one of your other videos before finding this one, i love your personality! you seem like a professional woman that knows what she is talking about! and Im totally looking up to you right now! Ive been on the fence on whether or not i should start out with "FBAhype" and Ive done my research over the past 6months or so. Ive taken/watched/signed up for a couple different individuals teaching/preaching "the FBA way!" Just a question, I understand the whole process of selecting a product, getting suppliers and shipping to amazon takes some time (probably 2-3 months as Im not from US), how do we make sure that the demand is still the same after those months? Or what if there are sellers launch a better product earlier than you?
Great question! Your job when doing your product research is to look at search and sale HISTORY. So you're not just looking at how it's been selling over the last few months but over the few years. This way you can identify any trends and have confidence that it will still be in demand in the near future.

You're welcome :) Yes, you can easily purchase your barcode and send it to the supplier along with your packaging/logo or simply embed your barcode into your packaging.
