Besides the Train crash, which is common knowledge, There have been other deaths there. There was a woman by the name of Manning who committed suicide there after being raped and found herself to be pregnant. This was in the mid fifties. Her parents lived in Alibon Road,Dagenham, not too far away from Heathway station. She was a great Aunt by marriage into our family.
When I was a Relief Station Inspector in the eighties, a Station Forman that was rostered there was found hanging from the coat hook on the inside of the door. Suicide or something else? Still remains a mystery to this day.
I see a Ghost train before here. And I could see a grey outline of a train and a man reading a newspaper. Its one that crashed in Saunderton but can still see it go up the tracks. As it pass by it made no sound and could only see the shape of it in grey and people on it. The lights were on to.
@@jefffranklin4894 indeed. From the ghosts in the aldwych tunnels to the screams at farringdon, it puzzles me as to what a station above ground might have
A reference to the haunting appears in Becontree Station's Wikipedia page. In terms of haunting, 1992 was an interesting year for me, too. But that's another story, with no geographical connection to London's busy railway services.
I love the old buildings and the quirky (can this word be used here?) atmosphere on the tube. I love taking a ride on the trains. I want to haunt a tubestation when I am dead!
I live at Becontree if you think the ghost is scary you want to see some of the locals
That's funny 🤣☺️
I live there too!
What's wrong with the locals?
I live in Becontree, cheecky🤣

I grew up there, lovely place in the 60’s and 70’s
Cool video, I love stations at night. I'd enjoy standing around waiting to see a ghost if I didn't get freaked out.
you will be waiting around for many years to see a ghost
miss the old district lines ;-;
A stock and D stock Now we got the S stock trains
Unusual for an overground station to be haunted.
MC36 only district. Not Overground
phantom page they mean it’s a station that’s above the ground not an Overground line

Motion Mode - Flight and Train Travel Reports surprisingly not much people know about the Farringdon one despite how gruesome the tale behind it is
No its not
Now everyone will either use Dagenham Heathway or Upney at night-LOL!
I don’t know about Dagenham Heath but Upney is quite a distance away
@@Farleigh1050 I suppose if you lived equal distance between Dagenham Heathway and Becontree, you could opt for Heathway at nightime
🤣🤣
@@johnhuggins1394 i live equal between Upney and Barking (maybe i wasnt supposed to tell you that but ok)
